Yeah, but all 3 times, it took 6 mos of their telling me they didn't get it, me resubmitting, them telling me 3 more weeks, them repeating not getting it, resubmit by fax, them telling me 3 more weeks, them repeating not getting it. Them telling me I cashed the check, me asking for a copy.................SOYO SUX! I still have all their E-mails. I was thinking about sending them to the state.

For the last 2 years Best Buy and Office Max had the most stuff I purchased. This year it just might be CompUSA and Staples!

I don't remember. I've been at other sales there that went till midnight and they introduced new specials each hour. I don't think this was one of those. The ad appeared in that Wednesday's newspaper and was online at midnight.

I've been there the past 2 years. I'm hoping for it this year. They had great deals on laptops, hard drives, memory, cd/dvd disks, vid cards. We started lining up at 1 P.M. They close the store at 4 and re-open at 5. They passed out tickets for the limited items.

It will be out as soon as someone reports it to this site. Do I win?

I think the peeps on the street corners in Los Angeles will have reduced prices on all merchandise in their trunks, and in inside their coats. At least thats the rumor.

Years ago Best Buy brought out a cart with free coffee and hot chocolate. This was before the coffee place did it.

The coffee cafe' in the shopping center with Best Buy comes out with menus. Then a few minutes later takes orders and delivers to the peeps in line. They sell coffee, pop, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, donuts, smoothees.

I live in Orange County and at the 2 Best Buys I've gone to in the past 9 years the time to be one of the first 50 in line has moved up about an hour each year. I started getting there at 4:00, last year midnight (was about 15th). You can get there when the manager said, but you won't even find a place to park. You should plan on getting there by 11:00. Yes, if its a CompUSA rebate, They take about 6 weeks. Manufacturer rebates take up to 16 weeks. It all depends on the rebate company that is handling it. Their job is NOT to send out the money.

I see nothing worth waiting more than a hour in line for. So I'm going to change my shopping list and cut out Best Buy all together. I've been going there since 1996. A change from Target when I needed to buy clothes and toys.

Fry's is my last hope for any deals. They always have great ones that outshine all the others. The problem is you need 4 peeps to cover the whole store before the specials are gone. Circuit City usually has nothing I want. Haven't been there in 2 years.

I only bid in the last 5 seconds of an auction. If you bid sooner on a popular item, you will always get outbid. If I don't get it for what I'm willing to pay. I'll wait until another one is available. This summer I bought a $2800 camera, used for $1610. In the 5 days of the auction only 5 bids were placed. In the last 10 seconds 20 bids were placed. I won and the seller tried to cancel the auction. That camera never went for that cheap before, especially with all the extras he included. He tried to get me to pay him another $200 for it. I did not do that, but I did drive 50 miles to pick it up and gave him the $35 s/h fee. I was determined to buy that camera for under $1650 and I did it. I wanted to pick it up because of the $ involved. I have bought hundreds of Items on eBay and only twice was I ripped off for a total of $45.

I've always got my rebates back. I keep really good track of when they are to return and copies of everything. And when the day is up, I start sending E-mails, then phone calls, then to the store where they came from. If the mfg won't pay up, the store comes across with the cash. The longest and hardest to collect was from Soyo. 3 different rebates, 2 different years, each took over a year to collect. You think I would have learned not to buy Soyo. Yes, now I have. And I see that Micro Center has not had any Soyo rebates for a while. Peeps must have complained.

After the BIG disappointment with that (Office Max) ad I am re-thinking what I am buying and where I am going. Might just go to CompUSA at midnight for the projector, vid card, and all in one, and buy the Acer at Staples. This would cut out Best Buy all together. I don't need a TV and the LCD monitors arent that great a price. I still have about 300 blank DVD's left, and the Staples ones are a better buy anyhow.

On the scan page 7, the 19.2 volt batteries 2 pack. I would like to buy those on line if possible. I went there last after Staples and the checkout lines went from one end of the store to the other. I only wanted some $10 tools and figured It wasn't worth waiting. Thanks for you help!

It was a joke. I got the ad Tuesday at the store.

We have gone to Staples 5th and they have been like Office Depot...Empty. And they still have everything we wanted. But since no one store has stand-out deals, people will be going to the store that has the most for their budget first. You never know what the other peeps deem important.

If you mean the gaming chair, Best Buy has them starting at $50.
