Never had a problem with my chopper, though it is rather small.

I've seen stuff snatched from children's hands, old ladies cart, and all out fist fights ove dvd players...it brings out the worst in some people.

I bring ads and a list, and pray I keep up with them.

Wow, 300, I have 5..I wish I had 300.

I don't see ads for them too often either, but I love that store.

My 3 1/2 year old wants everything he sees a commercial for.

I prefer to wrap. Have to agree it is funner for the kiddies that way.

I just layer to stay warm. Then bring my ads and my list..oh and money.

I would rather pick up items for my family then have some of them there with me...they would drive me insane.

We are usually to walmart by 3 am. This year I think the strategy will be to just stay up and head over about midnight..I think people are going to go crazy for the laptops here.

It is usually me, my husband, and sil..no one else takes it serious enough. So we usually keep it to ourselves. Some of my family members are the type who show up 5 hours after and try to cut up in line with you. I simply do not tolerate it...so there are a few black sheep we have to keep in the dark.

Nope, usually it is just me and my sil..so it is safe to shop for everyone else.

I start thinking about christmas items in july/august. Then I try to have 90% bought by thanksgiving, so all my BF goodies are nice bonuses.

Never happened to me, but when I go on bf (walmart) I take the toy dept. Then send someone else to electronics, by far the worst dept in this store. Everyone is usually in a mad dash to the electronics so I have about ten minutes to grab all my toy stuff before the crowd and chaos begins

I agree that they always have leftover computers at my walmart...but with laptops I am not too sure..I am debating on trying to get one myself.

I'm driving everybody crazy !!! I can't stop planning my strategy, no one else wants to hear it, so I guess I will be solo this year...no one to slow me down.

Never been first in line before, but this might be my year.

I'd rather be the first one waiting outside, then taking my chances in a 24 hour store.

everybody loves raymond, smallville, dallas, everwood, dukes of hazzard and several others are already out at 19.99 at the walmart where i live...already picked a few up..

CP Dolls, MP3 player, v3 razr phone, fly wheels, care bears......

I go with whoever is willing to sit with me outside walmart at midnight...usually no one. I would rather be alone at the front of the line.

Walmart, makes for a frustrating bf..but no target here..

I would have to agree that it depends on where you live. I went with my sister in law 2 years ago when she was 7 months pregnant. In my experience people don't care if you are pregnant, old, or cripled if you are in there way they are going to shove you. It is just how it is on BF. I hope this helped.

I've never posted here, but I have to totally agree. There is nothing worse than being in line for 3 + hours (maybe 10th in line), then buy the time the doors open have 30 people in front of you thanks to people letting people cut. BF 2003 the people before who got to the walmart before me tried to line up in single file with shopping carts in the lobby. I think you can imagine how that went. Total chaos everyone got out of order and eventually had to abandon the carts. Worst year yet.
