The DVD selection at my store was very slack. Didn't see many games or boys jeans either. Very few trampolines! I didn't see ANY of the cheap appliances.

My middle name. I don't hear it much either, although I did go to school with a girl who's first name was Danette. I always get a kick out of people trying to pronounce it

Got to Walmart about 10:45. Couldn't find the trampolines and by the time I located where they were supposed to be they were gone. Got 1 movie (I have NEVER seen such a sorry selection of movies in my life), the Shark, a few pairs of jeans for DS, sheet set, Tarheels hoodie, drinks and such. I don't think I've ever come out of WM spending as little as I did. I did notice my store had more toys this year, especially Zhu Zhu pets. Also lots of the bikes, exercise machines, and basketball sets. Got Diary of a Wimpy Kid yesterday from Amazon, got the 500GB hard drive this morning. Waiting on the logitech mouse now and pricing some movies against Target. Will go out later when the rest of the family gets up. Luckily I got most of what I wanted online already this year.

Didn't want to go back to Walmart for the hard drive and missed them online, but still lucked out- just got the Western Digital on Amazon for the same price! Boy did those go fast.

Walmart is crazy. Trampolines gone by 11. Never seen this many people here so early!

Why aren't they showing the price? That's weird. What prices they do give you are pretty high for BF imo.

I like the Western Digital deal and the clothes deals are good. I like the cookset deal too. Not too impressed with the DVD deals or the video games, toys either. The fire pit is a good deal and I need a new one. I was hoping for a 16GB Ipod Touch deal. I can get the 8GB for $2 less on Amazon right now, although the $30 giftcard Target is offering is nice. Overall I'm not disappointed.

I thought the digital drums looked interesting then I realized what I was thinking and slapped myself in the head. I thought the stores had given up the rebates on BF. Must be hoping very few people send them in. I hope it's not a trend.

Store manager. About a minute before the doors opened, I'd yell to the crowd that the doors will open at the other entrance!

When my children were younger I would hit one or two stores and be back in time for my husband to go to work. It was the only way I could do it and while it wasn't perfect (only had a couple of hours), it worked. I got most of what I wanted. Last year I did take DD12 because our Walmart was open all night. She was excited at first but about 3 she was soooooo tired lol.

I'm in to genealogy so one year I made everyone in my extended family a book, complete with pictures and a tree. That was a big hit. Perhaps something like a photo album- maybe it's called a memory book?- with some pictures and little stories about each one.

Are Ugg boots true to size? DD is wanting a pair also and I'm always leary about buying shoes online. But I also don't want to take her try them on and ruin her present lol.
