  1. I ordered last night, and got a confirmation for shipping today :) I'm not sure where exactly it ships from, but it looks like I *may* just have it by next weekend (the remote). I ordered a nunchuk from the Nintendo site, but haven't received a confirmation yet (a lot of people claimed to get them next-day). Wii Play would be great, but that isn't until the middle of February, so I'll wait and pick up a copy of that then and have at least 3 remotes then.
  2. There is no price reduction, and you'll have to pay shipping and sales tax, but bestbuy.com has the Wii controllers available. I ordered 1, and it will arrive between 1/9-1/17. This is pretty much the only place I could find online today that had them for purchase. The nunchuks are sold out on BB's web site, but if you want extras, you can order from store.nintendo.com .
  3. I picked up what looked to be the last 3 Apple Cinnamon Glade candles for $0.27 each ($0.81 altogether). They had the red tops, and had a different SKU than the other AC candles that were on the shelf, which were full price. My sister picked up the Gross-Out Doodle Monster for $4.98, one of the large Fairly Oddparents puzzles for $2.48 (other ones that we've bought have been about $7+, I don't remember what the regular price was on this one), and a Spongebob Puzzle for just over $2. Everything else in toys appeared to be 30-50% off still, unfortunately. They had a bunch of the Dancing Princess Barbie's, so I'm hoping to be able to get them at 75% off for my niece's.
  4. You can go right through DirecTV and save a little on the monthly cost. The monthly cost of Tivo is about $13.99, but through DTV, you pay $4.99/month for the service. If you want to received HD channels, then you'd want to look into the HD-DVR (HR20 model). I'm currently looking for one at a good price -- they cost about $300 if you purchase it, and do not lease it through DTV. HD service is an additional $9.99 through DTV, and does not include all of the HD channels available. After you get a DVR, you'll never think back to those days of having to use a VCR, VHS, and the record button lol.
  5. HDTV or non? If non-HD, then try picking up one of the RCA or Hughes DirecTV DVR's that has the Tivo software (the newer DTV DVR's do not use the Tivo software). They are only 40 hours (roughly 35-40), but I have heard nothing but negative things about the new DTV non-HD DVR's. If you don't care about the software, then try calling up DirecTV and ask them what kind of promotion they could offer you on the DVR. The new ones are about 100 hours (maybe more). If they say there are none, then try calling at a later time, and if they still continue to, then you may want to look around at Dish and your cable company's offers, and then mention those to a DTV rep. I have never done this, but apparently it works well for many others. Good luck :)
  6. haha, my bf was playing a few rounds of boxing the other night, and said that it is a little bit of a workout. we picked up some ankle weights on clearance at target last week, so i told him we could strap those to his arms to give a little more of a workout lol.
  7. No, it's the same code, but I believe that code expired on 12/28. If it is still an active code, it may be conflicting with another of your codes (I could not get it to work on an order I placed on 12/27).
  8. Try scanning the French Vanilla, if there are any at yours. Ours had the FV, Apple Cinnamon, and Pumpkin Pie's all on clearance.
  9. I GOT ONE! My bf and I checked Target, BB, CC, 2 EB's, Sears, WM & TRU this morning, to no avail. We went back around 12:30-1 and checked Sam's Club (no), and then tried FYE since it was the only store we hadn't checked. We went in different directions when we entered the store, and I didn't see any boxes anywhere (not behind any of the counters). I went back around the store, and my bf was waving me over. I got over there and he says "pick a game". Apparently, they would only sell it to us if we bought a game. I really did not expect them to have one, but now I have one sitting here waiting to be played (yes, played, not put up for sale). Of course, we saw a Wiimote at WM this morning, and after I got the console, it was gone. But I have the console, the wiimote and nunchuk that are included, 3 games (not including Wii Sports) and a classic controller :)
  10. What game did you get? Do you remember any other titles that were marked down?
  11. Did anyone hear of any more larger shipments coming in any time soon? We went out to a lot of stores this morning, but no one had any. There were some 60 gig PS3's available, but no Wii's.
  12. That one is for in-store. The one I posted, for online use, was through geicoprivileges.com (you do not need to be a geico customer to sign up, and it's free)
  13. Stopped at the Middletown, NY store for a Wii this morning, and checked out the clearance since another member here said it was 75% off now. The Christmas stuff was 75% off, there seemed to be a lot of the decorations/wrap/etc. available still. I checked on some toys I looked at the other day when I was there, but they were holding steady at 50% off. Maybe next time I go, they'll be there still and at 75% off.
  14. Try using the following link (add in the http:// if you want, or just copy and paste it in) - 10% off $199+ : www.circuitcity.com/ccd/genericContent.do?oid=113665&WT.mc_n=335124&WT.mc_t=U&cm_ven=AFFILIATE%20MARKETING&cm_cat=GEICO%20PRIVILEGES&cm_pla=AFFILIATE->COUPON%20LISTING&cm_ite=133365%20COUPON%20110306_10%%20OFF%20$199%20AND%20UP%20WITH%20STANDARD%20EXCLUSIONS&cm_keycode=335124
  15. Do you have the HD DVR, or just the regular DVR? I already have one of the Tivo DVR's, but we have an HDTV now.
  16. Does anyone know of any deals on the DirecTV HD-DVR, the new(er) HR20? It looks like it's $299 everywhere, and that's a little outrageous, IMO. Any free, or FAR deals would be the best, but any other really good deals are appreciated :)
  17. The coupons you mentioned expired on 11/24, so this is a HUGE YMMV. My soon-to-be-4-year-old niece got the wizard dog before Christmas, and loves it! I don't remember seeing them at our Target, but my sister got it for her at Boscov's, as well as some of the refills for it.
  18. They had some of the trains at mine yesterday, but we didn't need one, so we didn't check the price. We did also get the Hide n Seek Care Bear for $14.xx (50% off), it was the last one on the shelf. They also had a bunch of the Gross-Out Doodle Monsters on 50% off for $7.xx . Since they still had a bunch, I'm hoping they'll be able to hit 75% off, but we'll see.
  19. Good choice! I picked up the 27" Samsung Slim Fit (non-HD) over the summer, to replace the RCA that burned out, and love it! I got mine from Circuit City, bought it online when it was on sale and paired the sale with the 10% off coupon, then picked it up in the store. You should check out their price, there should still be a vaild 10% off $199+ coupon available.
  20. Anyone in the Sullivan/Orange/Ulster County, NY; Rockland Cty., NY, or Bergen Cty., NJ see any Wii's on the shelves anywhere, or of any shipments coming in soon? My bf wanted to get me one for Xmas, but he couldn't get one, so it was IOU'ed.
  21. Mine had a FP Little People treasure chest playset for ~ $2.72 or so (came with maybe 2 LP and a treasure chest, not sure if there was anything else). The LP circus was also half off it looked like, to about $13.xx . I don't remember seeing much else of FP's on clearance.
  22. Was your order over $60? It seems that all of their FS codes have been for $60+.
  23. Maybe Kohl's? They had a bunch of the Hallmark Keepsake ornaments before Xmas.
  24. I was there last night, and the toys were marked 30%, but most of them were tagged/scanning at the 50% off price. I got: 2 Christmas Morning Barbies ($4.99 ea.) 2 Barbies that come with a few outfits ($4.98 ea.) We found the Glade Apple Cinnamon / French Vanilla / Pumpkin Pie scented candles scanning at $1.39 (reg. $2.79), so we picked up a bunch of the AC and FV ones, and a bunch of the $.50 batteries from the 1/2 off dollar spot.
