  1. n/p :) Anyway, went to a different Target today... Got: Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture 2 DVD game - $8.7x (75%) Lysol wipe refill pack (for 2 refills) - $5.94 (30%) 4-pack puddings (Target brand, I think) - $0.62 (I *think* 30%) Reese's Snack Bars - I think it was $1.77 or so, about 15-30% off. Finds: Had a lot of the Friends Scene It games marked 75% off ($8.7x), various snack foods 15-30% off, some down alternative comforters $22.xx and up ($22 and change for Twin, Full/Queen was about $29.xx, not sure what King was) may have been the Woolrichs (50% off), various women's pj's and athletic wear 30% off, etc.
  2. It doesn't rhyme with mallet, but if you flip the first letter upside down (m = w), then you have part of the forbidden name from the link. Check out the May Target thread for the link (last few pages include the link + the forbidden words to include in the link).
  3. If you're having trouble entering the DCPI on the site, remove the spaces from it. I used it yesterday to try it out, since I never have before, and it came up with the error message when I copied and pasted the DCPI from here. I went back and removed the spaces, and it worked correctly. Back on topic here, a few finds from last night: - Girls Strawberry Shortcake Flip Flops (Dollar Spot) - $0.25 (75%) - 2-pack of Barbie sticky notes (Dollar Spot) - $0.25 (75%) (Not all of our dollar spot items were 75% off, ie the batteries were still $1.00) - 2-pack of My Little Pony - $3.24 (75%) - Disney plug-and-play TV game - $3.74 (75%) - A party chip dish with heated dip area - $6.24 (75%) - Mossimo women's shoes - $6.24 (75%) - had various women's shoes/sandals 30-75% There were a few vacuums marked as 15% off, cosmetics/shampoos looked to be at 15% still, deodorant 2-packs were still 15% (degree, and I think it's axe or something for the men), the Color Wonder / Explosion sets were finally 50% off ($4.98), various pieces in the furniture dept. were 30%. Furby puzzles were 50% (1.48 or so), still had a bunch of the Cranium Pop 5 games at $6.xx...
  4. Google search "deal forum", check out the beginning of the first link. Anyway, Recent Target deals: - Chefmate 3pc glass pan set (two rectangular pans, one pie pan) - ~ $7.48 (50%) - Chefmate 4pc glass pan set (two rectangular pans, one casserole dish w/ lid) - ~ $5.98 (50%) - 2 children's puzzles (24 piece??) - $1.48 each (50%) - Junior Mints - $0.75 (15%) - Hershey's Cacao Reserve - $0.24 (75%) - Friends Scene It! Game - $8.72 (75%) I've seen a lot of the Cranium Pop 5 games, but have no use for one (picked one up for $5 around Xmas). Toys had a lot of Barbie Flower Girls (looks like a Kelly doll in some weird bouquet thing) for $2.48 (75%), some Barbie MyScene dolls, the Fairies dolls and some small playsets, some Polly Pockets for 50% off, I think I saw some Giga Pets in there tonight, a Disney plug-and-play TV game for $7.48, some Tonka trucks (30%), a few other things mixed in there too. The Color Wonder stuff is still at 30%, so I've been waiting for that to drop more. Some candles and candle accessories are at 30% off, and a lot of stuff recently went to 15% off.
  5. Thanks! Yeah, it'll be done this week. We had bought chair cushions like two weeks ago, that are also on sale now this week. We have to find that receipt first though, but at least we'll be able to get a little back from what we purchased yesterday :)
  6. The only threads I could find on Target PA's were from sometime in 2006, so in the event that anything has changed... 1. Can you just bring in the receipt to get the adjustment? 2. If a product goes on sale, but with a percentage, can you get an adjustment on the difference? We picked up an umbrella yesterday for a patio table, and they are 10% off today. If we bring in the receipt, will we be able to get 10% of the price back? 3. How long do you have to get an adjustment? Thanks! :)
  7. It looks like the shortage may be over soon. Went in my local Target on Sunday afternoon for a clearance hunt and to try to get a copy of Wii Play, since it was in the ad (I've checked once a week since it was released and they have yet to have it in stock), and there were 3-4 Wii's in the case with the games. This was after 1 in the afternoon. Of course, Wii Play was sold out though. (I know you can get Wii Play online, but I'm not in *that* big of a rush for it, rather just pick it up in the store one of these weeks. It'll be the last remote I'll need lol.)
  8. I went ahead and ordered the Amazon one yesterday. For $6.41, I'll leave that one connected at home and use the a/v cable for when I transport the Wii to someone else's house... which will save me from having to keep the a/v cables plugged into the front of the tv at home and make it look a little nicer lol. :) Also, if anyone else is wondering if there is a difference, I found the following page that has mouse-over images showing the difference. I have 3 of the 4 games pictured, so it gave me a better idea. :) http://www.gamespot.com/features/6162297/p-2.html
  9. For those that have it, is there really any difference (between the component and a/v)? EDIT: This looks like the iMax Wii component cables that you can get from Amazon's Marketplace for ~$6.41 shipped (lowest price): http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000M5ZIVY/ref=dp_olp_0/104-9925446-4435969?ie=UTF8&qid=1177436196&sr=8-4&condition=all
  10. Congrats! We picked up a pool table (7-8') at Wal-Mart a couple of months back. It was less than $300, and came with a couple of cues, the balls, chalk, triangle, etc. If you don't need anything crazy, then it's something to look into. For as often as we play, it works out great for us.
  11. I play Sports and Wario Ware most right now. I played Zelda for a while, but I got stuck and stopped playing lol. I'll pick it up again one of these days. I rented Rayman and Super Monkey Ball. Rayman didn't seem like my kind of game, and I doubt I'd really play SMB enough to spend $50 on it, maybe when it comes down in price. If you're not sure, take advantage of some of the online game rental free trials. I went through GottaPlay -- through quizpoints, so I earned a $10 gift card while doing the trial .
  12. This sounds like the one I got last night... Originally $49.99, paid $12.48. It's a "Gamma III". It has two scoreboards, and apparently it "trash talks" lol. I haven't plugged it in yet, though. Unfortunately, I usually use cash at Target, rather than my debit/credit card.
  13. I had a pretty good day at Target... Went in for the Bratz ready-bed tent that is $7.48 now, as I found that I DO still have my receipt from when I paid $29.99 for it for an Xmas present... I checked the kids tent/bed aisle, and where the Bratz tents were, was completely empty, so I panicked... turned out of the aisle, and they had them all on an endcap a couple of aisles down, so I grabbed one of those. I'll try returning it with the $29.99 receipt in a few days or so when I get back there. I checked what was left of the toy clearance aisle, as there are a couple of dart boards I kept waiting for 75% off on... they were at 75 today, so I picked up the electronic one for $12.48. I checked the furniture again, and found a $199.99 silver/glass TV stand marked down to $47.xx, so I came home with one of those as well (This, but in silver instead of black. Orig. price - $199.99 as per the sticker http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_5/602-3420714-8048663?ie=UTF8&asin=B000IBITU4&frombrowse=1).
  14. Didn't find any great clearance deals at my local Target tonight. There were some furniture pieces that looked alright, but they were around $99-149 on clearance, and they didn't have any more of the cube things that I liked on clearance. I looked for the Blaine Barbie that someone mentioned, but they didn't have any, nor were there any of the Crayola sets (my sister got my niece the Nemo one around Xmas time, but all they had was a farm animals one that I didn't bother to scan). The Bratz Boutique ready-bed tents were marked down to $7.48, though. Unfortunately, I had to buy one of these at full price ($29.99) for a little girl I babysit for, after I had given her brother the Spiderman version (freebie ) for his birthday a few weeks before. Of course, the tents went on clearance about a week after I finally threw out the receipt.
  15. We have the purple Animal as well, and have had no problems with it. We had two dogs, one now and a few cats. No problems with clogging here either.
  16. You can price match at a nearby Wal-Mart. I had to do this with the Zelda game. CC has it for $37.xx on New Year's Eve, and when we got there (looking for the console) minutes after opening, there were none on the shelf. I've found that my CC rarely has any of the advertised values in stock when the sale starts. So I took the ad across the street to WM :)
  17. CC had Zelda for $37.xx a few weeks ago, and the week after they had a couple of other titles available at that price. I don't know about this past week, but it seems like they mark a couple at that price every week. Otherwise, take it online and use some coupon codes to get the prices down. :)
  18. It seems the best deal is to get a 10-day no expiration park hopper pass. It's roughly $400, which would be about $40/day. Much better than paying about $70 for one day and one park. Florida residents get their own discounts, so you may be able to find better.
  19. If you're playing a game, and hit the home button on the remote, then it will pull up a screen that will show you the battery life for each of the remotes that are in use at that time.
  20. My mom bought the Dyson Animal vaccuum from them a few months back, got it home, and it was the yellow one in the box... plus, it had been used. They took it back, exchanged it for a new Animal, and took a percentage off for the trouble.
  21. I've been on 2 Carnival cruises. The first was when I was 13, and my parents chose to take us on Carnival -- after being on RC before -- as they felt it was more suited for kids than RC was. We ended up taking the second about 6 years later due to a good price, and I have no complaints. My mom has been on a few RC ones before, and prefers to cruise with them, but does not feel that they are suitable for children... so, if you're bringing your son, then you'll probably want to go Carnival.
  22. This is available for online purchases as well, and you can pick up most in stores if you prefer. Also, they have made it so that you can sign up for membership online: http://www.myrewardzone.com :) As for the program, your free membership is good for a year, and will renew as long as you make a purchase within that year.
  23. Yes, you do. WM.com or Target.com has 2-packs of wireless GC controllers for $19.99. The controllers when I got them for my GC were $19.99-29.99 each, so $19.99 for two is a good deal (mine are not wireless).
  24. Check the aisle by the cleaners that has the air fresheners. The Glade candles are in there. If you see any with red plastic caps, scan them to make sure they are the right ones (they could just have the wrong caps on them). The French Vanilla, Apple Cinnamon, and Pumpkin Pie were the ones that were on clearance. I'm unsure of the Pumpkin Pie ones, as we weren't interested in those, but there are two different FV and AC ones (one on clearance, one full price). Here are the numbers from beneath the barcode on each scent to help you out if you want to take a look: French Vanilla - 46500 16619 Apple Cinnamon - 46500 16613 (The first set of numbers is the same on all of them, so it's the second set you need to look at if you don't see any red caps). Good luck, if you search for them! :)
