Shortness

Yeah--they both went through of course. I did call, but she said I still might receive the 1st order. I said, I just ordered both within the last 15 minutes--she went ahead and put a cancellation, but I guess there's still a chance I will receive both orders. Hopefully not. Oh well, I have a Sears near. Next time, I'll check my order history before I proceed with another order. Thanks for your info--I probably wouldn't have checked if it weren't for you. :) BTW, thanks OP for the thread!

Uh oh.... I went back and re-ordered. This time I got a confirmation #. I should have checked back here in case. Luckily, it was only 3 items, but I really don't want doubles. Maybe I should call them...

Well, I got in later, but I got everything in my cart, when I hit checkout--they told me 3 items were no longer available. I got done putting all my information and hit submit, then it took me to an internet page (page no longer...). I hit refresh and it said "we are not able to process your order at this time" and my whole cart was empty. Grrrrrr..... There is no way for me to check if it actually went through or not, as I didn't get an order number--yet all my information was there when I hit submit. I hate to order again if by some chance it went thru.

Yes... It's a bummer, as we bought an HD-DVD player (Toshiba) not long ago, then I read everybody is dropping the HDs and going for the Blu Rays. It is a good player though and we've enjoyed it so far--just too bad we'll probably want to update it in the near future...

Sorry to hear about your shipment. I hope you find it somehow. Once, we found a fedex package that someone tossed on the ground near our gate. It was for a neighbor down the block. Another time, they delivered a package of ours to that same neighbor. Fedex may be faster, but they don't seem to give a darn who they deliver the package to. I called them the first time and told them and they said, "oh, thanks"...

My dh would probably not be happy if I did this, but some of the purses and bags are so cute. My dd would love the skulls. I think the laptop bag and totes are awesome. I definitely don't need any more backpacks... What to do...

I think it's good to agree on a specific time, and tell him that if they don't show by "this" time, you will let the next person come by. I can see waiting a couple hours in case they're just late, but if you've made them aware on the phone that you're not waiting past a certain time. We purchased something before Christmas, and that's what the guy told us--and we got there and purchased it. Had we been late, he would've sold it quickly to someone else...

I went to our Target today. I looked all over the furniture area, closet organization, etc. Nothing... I was bummed... They did have a couple dark "wood" organizer shelving/cabinets on an end cap for $25. They looked nice, but not the dimensions I needed, and I would prefer drawers.

Oh gosh, I wish I would've seen this earlier. I hope ours has some and I can get in there for a couple... It's freezing and icy, so night driving is not the best tonight... I wonder if I called Target if they'd know what I was talking about--and tell me. I've never had the best luck when I've called them.

I agree. I didn't see that earlier. I think it's a fine deal, regardless. I'm just cheap about shipping.

OOOhhhh!!! I just promised my dh I wouldn't spend anymore on the wii--but we have looked all over for this game and nobody has it around here-- and that is a decent price.

I went to bed almost 1. Dh woke me up at 6, got back to sleep, then kids got up for stockings at 8. Can't complain about that. All good-the joy on the kids' face is great. Dh is sleeping now, and I'm tired, but caffeined up--and fighting a virus.... Not looking forward to travelling tomorrow.

I'm lucky. I was up late, but dh stayed up to almost the same. He did wake me up a couple times this morning, and finally made me get up at 8, but it was ok. The kids were excited to get moving. I am sick right now, thanks to my dd--and feeling a bit yucky--so I said it was ok to open gifts before breakfast. That really made the kids happy. Anyhow, hope your day gets better. Merry Christmas.

Everything but the stocking stuffers--though I usually wrap some of those. I'm not sure if I will or not this year. They love just diggin in and pulling different things out.
