Shortness

Our first digital camera was a sony, and we loved it. We bought it in 2000, but it just got too slow for action pics the past couple years. It was time to update anyhow... It was easy to use and took excellent pics. My ds got me a canon, and it's not as user friendly as the Sony was.

Shoot, I should've gotten this when it was first listed. I knew my oldest wouldn't like it, so I couldn't figure out where to put it. We could've put it in the RV---as now, I always take blankets back and forth from/to the house. Perfect color too...

Nice avatar---whenever I see a Pink Panther, I think of you--and your cute bathroom! I finally came back and ordered the two extra tees for my dd's friends.

Thanks. I'll try to remember to do the duplicate thing from now on. Luckily, I was able to go back through my order history, and click on "help", then it allowed me to choose between the items I had purchased that time. It pulled up the item # and allowed me to email them about it. I already got the email saying they were reimbursing me for $5. Yay!

Thank you. The last we had was a GB Advance, so the DS Lite is new to us, and we haven't really paid attention in between. Oh--and thanks OP. Got a couple games.

Please forgive my ignorance, but ds lite will play regular ds games won't it?

I wouldn't go either. The older I get, the more I just pull out of things I don't want to be involved in. I just feel like I have my own kids now, and my goal is to enjoy them as much as possible. We live in a completely different state than all of our relatives, so it does make it easier to not visit, but honestly--even if we were close, I wouldn't be at all the get-togethers. I don't have the family strife that you do, but I'm not really close with much of my extended family. My dh, kids and I usually end up in a corner or different room from everyone else because the others all know each other much better. Makes for a long day and wishing we were home and comfy with each other.

My older kids were never into the pixtars--of course they offer a bit more than they used to, but the ones we had they played a couples times then never again. I just got my ds a vtech handheld. The reason for this is that we already have a lot of vtech games for the vtech console. That way, he'll have a bunch of games to choose from with what he has and what I add to it. I just think it would've been nice if they came out with the handheld first, as I never would've gotten the console. Oh well--we've definitely gotten our money's worth, and I appreciate the different age recommendations for the games. He's had his console for a couple years now, but he's been able to grow with it.

I went back to order two more, but they were charging me $11.99 per shirt. At first, it gave me the discount like before, but when I went to check out, the discount was only $1--giving me the $11.99. EDIT: I see now, toward the bottom of the first page, it says "one per customer"... Uh, I guess Rockfordmom mentioned that above too...

If you're mean, then so are we... We give our kids a hard time ALL the time. They give each other a hard time, and they tease their friends too. It's all in fun, and we have a much more playful and fun household than I grew up in. I love it!

I gift clothes as gifts. Not so much for the younger ones, but for my oldest who loves clothes. She's not into toys anymore... She's into clothes and music--so that's our focus for her... I will usually do a couple "character" sets of pjs for my ds--as he enjoys them.

I'm so mad at myself... I have already given two gifts to my teenager--because they seemed to be "convenient/needed" at a couple of occasions. That leaves me with 2 gifts that I need to make up for... Ugh!!! I haven't told my dh yet either, so I feel guilty too. They weren't huge cost items, but still... Do you ever do that? I think this is my first year...

Thanks, it does! I think I might get one for each girl at that price. One might be a little big on my middle one, but she likes things bigger. Both like them thin though. They mostly wear sweatshirts all winter and it drives me crazy....

Is this puffy at all? My dd likes a really slim fit, with absolutely NO puffiness. For those of you who have it, what do you think?
