Haha! My advice would be to go to the Kohl's toy section & press everything that makes noise & see which is loudest! There was something I tried there that was so loud i had to throw something over it before people started looking.

There are racks close to the wall in every department. When I was there, most had signs that said 60, 70, or 80% off.

The main issue is that, if your hand is anything but 110% completely stable, the image is likely to blur. The more you zoom in, the worse it is - I don't think I've ever been able to take a clear picture while zoomed in even half-way. Also, lately I've found that, if you take a picture using the flash, it takes a good 20-30 seconds for the camera to be ready to go again, which has made it hard to, say, snap my little goddaughter while playing, or convince my family to hold still while I take another shot of them. So, I mean, I'm not saying it's a piece of junk, just that it has issues that make me wish I had bought something else.

Me too! Though for me that number's probably more like 7 - I'm always amazed when people imply they only have 1 Wal-Mart within a reasonable distance! Then again, I do live in one of the most densely-populated areas of the country, so we need them!

My neighbors got their daughter this & said they got a good price at Costco - not sure how much, but perhaps one of the warehouse stores would be a good place to try.

I'm so confused! My contract is about to be up, & I know I used to get the New Every 2 thing...last time it was $100, but this time I may only get $50...but I'll probably get something that's free or cheap w/ new contract anyway. The Circuit City thing with the free Bluetooth headset & gift card caught my eye, but I don't know if I feel like going there. And right now, none of their phones really appeal to me. Still hoping something will come along to wow!

Darn Wal-Mart just had to come along & be good, so I had to revise my plans...outlets at midnight, WM at opening, then Target, Old Navy, & Michaels...oh, & maybe Toys R Us at some point. Problem is when I'll be able to get any online stuff...wonder if I can get Wi-Fi standing outside anywhere
