i just don't go to sleep! heh. caffeine is also important. and to get myself in the right frame of mind i blast christmas songs in the car on the way to the stores

ok, i've officially changed my position - these 'deals' suck! everything i was looking forward to, save WM, is now out, & i was only pleased with maybe 2 of the ads to the point that i will be going to the stores

possibly nothing...now that i've made my eyes bleed trying to look at that ad i must say i'm really disappointed & may not go at all

honestly, i still say anyone lining up thanksgiving day is a bit kooky - i don't think there could ever be a deal that would make me do that! i know a lot of people do it for cheap computer deals, but i think past years have shown that these tend to be rather poor technology with limited features, etc. i was thinking i would just go out around 5 this year, until i found out some places are opening at 4 - ugh! so i'm still calculating when i need to leave am i the only person who just doesn't go to sleep? that way works much better for me than trying to get up after only a few hours - i can't function!

where's marcs with my eyeroll smileys? their ad was pathetic anyway, as are many of the others from stores demanding they be taken down, and no wonder - we're pretty much laughing at them!

I noticed that in this week's Best Buy ad, they have some of the same TV box sets as Circuit City will have on BF, for the same price! Smallville s1-5, Nip/Tuck s1-3, & West Wing s1-7 are all $14.99 now - if you can get to BB you can save yourself some time on BF!

i'm getting the WD 160GB portable hard drive...i don't need to back up my whole system, just need some extra storage space

Those shutterfly calendars are great! My aunt got a similar deal but doesn't have a computer so she sent me the codes & I made one for her - it looks beautiful! Very professional! Just make sure you have the largest possible images - the bigger the file, the better quality the picture will be when it's printed.

i *highly* doubt you need to be there bright and early...the earlier seasons will be plentiful, since most people who wanted them bought them when they first came out, or in the years since...9 & 10 might be more scarce though CC also has them on sale on BF, but for $18.99 - I suppose that could be your fall-back

i love how stores rely on sites like this one for free publicity, then basically stab them in the back besides, the target ad i saw, if it's legit, is the crappiest of all so far...i won't be shopping there anyway

whine, whine, whine...sometimes i think people expect to be given things for free i think the stores have learned that people will camp out & go apesh!t no matter what their prices are, so yeah, i wouldn't expect dirt cheap stuff from every store

I think it really depends on the store, & when you get there. Last year I got there around 7 (an hour or 2 after opening) & it was a very long line but totally calm.
