  1. If it goes this week (and it should) I think The One Spot tends to go on Thursdays. But, I could be wrong!!
  2. Very nice!! A Target team member who posts on the AOL board said black dot items in The One Spot went 50% off today. I hope there's some left at 75% off. If so, I'll be buying $50 worth of the toys for Santa gifts for the village residents children.
  3. Wow! My son's Bar Mitzvah is in two months. Anything appropriate to be used for that? Is the $5 off $25 coupon available online anywhere?
  4. No Super Targets within 60 miles at least in this part of Florida...
  5. I think the internet coupon policy is always available online, so is subject to change.
  6. Just print this out (feel free to change my email address to yours, I don't mind) and carry it with you: Subj: Inquiry to Target Guest Relations Date: 9/29/03 2:19:01 PM Central Daylight Time From: [email protected] (Target Guest Relations) To: [email protected] Dear Pamela, Thank you for your e-mail regarding Target's acceptance of coupons. Target is a trend retailer that wants to provide you the latest merchandise at the lowest possible prices. We have established our coupon guidelines to treat every guest fairly and consistently. We accept any Target issued coupon or manufacturer's coupon that meets the guidelines written on the coupon. We do not accept coupons from other retailers or coupons for products not carried in our merchandise assortment. All coupons must be valid and presented to the cashier at the time of sale. You may use a Target issued coupon and a manufacturer's coupon for the same item, provided the guidelines do not prevent such a transaction. When the value of a coupon exceeds the selling price of an item, our coupon guidelines allow the selling price of the item to be entered as the coupon amount, and the cashier takes the coupon. We are always looking for ways to make the Target experience better for every guest. Your comments concerning the acceptance of coupons will be made available to the Store Team Leader as well as our Store Operations executives. We value you as our guest and thank you for shopping at Target. Sincerely, Janine O. Target Guest Relations www.target.com The cash register does not automatically adjust the coupon price to the amount the item is selling for. So, if you buy any items that do not ring up free (or less), the overage is applied to them as well. The cashier will manually adjust the coupons if you are owed money at the end of the transaction. I always give all of my coupons to the cashier after everything has been scanned.
  7. All Super Target coupons can be used at regular Targets, as long as they sell the item. I don't have a Super Target near me, so I don't save any meat or most frozen food Super Target coupons. But, m&ms my Target carries. :) I have an email from Target corporate regarding their coupon policy. I'll find it and post. You can print it out and carry it with you when you shop, in case you get a cashier-nazi.
  8. :) Plus, remember you can also layer a manufacturers coupon as well, and have the amount taken off of the total of other items pretax. It must be on other items, since the candy and the Target coupon cancel each other out.
  9. Use this on the Red, White, and Blue Peanut M&M's through Saturday. http://sites.target.com/images/supertarget/weekly_refresh/061106/061106-1.gif
  10. True, but I've seen stores clearance out items they still carry if the packaging changes as well.
  11. Ah, thanks for trying, Kristen. The Lounge is a semi-private forum that becomes accessible after 100 posts I think. You'll get in there pretty quick if you keep posting.
  12. OT: Vote for me!! Do y'all appreciate this thread and the Newbie Guide? If so, vote for me in the Hardcore GottaDealer Poll over in the Lounge. TIA!!
  13. Not RAOS towels, right? If they're part of the Domestics department, the schedule posted in the Newbie Guide (very first post of this thread) says the usual day for Domestics to be marked down is Tuesdays. The length of time between markdowns can vary depending on how sales of the items at the current markdown are going. A Target with slower sales on the towels may mark them down lower two weeks after marking them at a lower pecentage, say 30% off, One where the towels are sellng rapidly at 30% off may stay at the 30% for a good month or more. It's only the seasonal items that follow a holiday type of schedule, or a special temporary department like the Global Bazaar, where all the stores seem to mark the items down at the same time. However, if you know an item has been marked down at one Target, you can be pretty sure the same item will be marked down at all Targets eventually.
  14. At most Targets, the toy department is marked down on Wednesdays. That will vary by store, depending on if the mark down team gets behind in the items they need to get marked down. But generally, you should check toys on Wednesdays.
  15. Have you checked to see what's listed at http://www.schumanfamily.com/fatwallet/targetUPC.html yet?
  16. Excellent! Any idea if any bar-be-cue grills and fire bowls are included in this go around?
  17. If I ever make the 90 mile round trip to Ocala, I'll have to remember to see if a coupon is available before I go. I've never been to a Hobby Lobby (and resent their refusal to not be open on Sundays. When is an observant Jew supposed to get to spend time in one? As a rush trip after work M-TH?), but have heard it's a terrific craft and hobby store, and really big.
  18. As a price adjustment? The way many people get items they already bought at cheaper clearance is to buy the item again and return the previously purchased item with the receipt for the higher price. If you didn't keep the receipt, the Guest Services desk can do a receipt look-up for any method of payment other than cash. However, if you will be re-buying the item with the same method of payment as the higher priced one, I suggest you have the new one to be bought in your cart but unbought at Guest Services, as Target will only refund the most recent or lower priced purchase of the same item if you are returning one of them on receipt look-up. Then you can go buy the lower priced item after making the return. IME, Target will insist an item be held overnight before putting it back on the sales floor. I have never been able to return an item and then turn around and buy the exact item I returned at the lower price right away. So, if you plan to do this, make sure you have the item in your cart to buy at the lower price.
  19. Wow, great finds, newsies! Were they all in the RAOS section, or spread throughout the store? BTW, Tracy (snakeswiff), congrats on being post 1000 in this thread!
  20. I'm pretty sure the patio stuff that goes clearance (here in FL we have some patio lines year round) start mid-July. But, we also have mark downs here in March on patio and gas grills, so this may be a regional thing instead of nationally.
