  1. The $20 Emerson one I got BF 2007 was junk. I didn't even take it out of the box until the following April and it was junk a few months later.
  2. If you have a Rite Aid near you, there's a 1GB SD card in their ad this week for $4.99 http://www.riteaid.com/stores/weekly_ad/detail_item.jsf?tnumber=T36725&circularId=1717&page=11&region=east
  3. I'm watching the topsy turvy infomercial right now, and it's the one with the stand. 2 payments of $19.99. but wait... if you call within the next few minutes you get the strawberry topsy turvy thing too... for free... you just pay S&H. www.topsytree.com (If that's the one you're looking for) I think I might try to find the $10 at Target and just hang it on a shepherd's hook.
  4. I haven't picked one up lately, but you used to be able to get a HD coupon at the post office in that little mover's packet that has the change of address form in it.
  5. I think I need more coffee... I kept seeing the the title of this thread as Chocolate COVERED Pearl Necklace.
  6. Thanks. I just picked up an Arkansas Razorbacks pair for my nephew. Wish they'd had a bigger selection of sizes available, I could have gotten my other nephew a pair.
  7. I got the $25 today too. A pleasant surprise in my paypal acct.
  8. I just checked my Kelloggs stockpile and found one box with a Panda Token, and one box has a Disney Token for a freen Disney World Resort Camera. If you PM me your address I can mail you the Panda one you need tomorrow.
  9. I've tried NS before. Some of it IS nasty!! Some of their soups could double as wallpaper paste.
  10. It looks to be the same (I only saw the pic in the ad). It's probably meals that have discontinued from Nutrisystem's menus. I know in the past BigLots has sold discontinued PartyLite candles or accessories, that's the only reason I say it's prob stuff not available on their menu anymore. They sell them to places like Big Lots.
  11. Congrats on your purchase! Now I'm going to threadjack a little further... Mine also has the tool for audible books. My question though is -- If I have audio books on CD, is there a way I can download my audio book cds onto my GPS (or will I HAVE to buy/download them from audible.com?)? I use my audio books every time I travel, but some of them are 6 cds and driving and trying to change the discs is not always the easiest. It would be much easier to have them all on the GPS and the press of one button.
  12. Hmm, I thought they quit putting codes on Powerade a long time ago.... That might have been a really old Powerade. LOL
  13. Thanks! I got a few to enter. Some had already been redeemed.
  14. Buster Brown shoes are still around?? You just took me back about 30 years.
  15. ebay is probably the cheapest. What kind of phone is it??
  16. I think that date was just for if you were sending in that magazine cover. I had also seen more recent articles about sending in the bags.
  17. I have the same one, and I love it. Comes in very handy when I (still) get lost around town. The only thing I wish it had that it doesn't is bluetooth. Now if I can just make myself sit down and learn how to use all the extras (mp3, Audiblebook, etc) CORRECTION: I have the nuvi 650, not the 660. I just double checked after reading a post below. I thought I might have just missed the bluetooth feature.
  18. Doing some searching, I found this info: Also, here's a pic of the reusable bag that you get. I thought it was one of the red canvas bags, but these are actually made from the returned plastic bags. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d77/kmbrly999/Targetbag.jpg
  19. I saw in one of their recent commercials that MJ is now available at Radio Shack. I still don't think I'm game enough to give it a try, but if I were, I'd like the fact that I could buy it locally at Radio Shack and return it if I had any problems (depending on their return policies).
  20. Mine didn't last long enough for Santa. LOL Good thing he wasn't stopping at my house anyway. They were yummy.
  21. I just activated this free month today, and then my sister sent me a year gift subscription for Christmas. Will activating that cancel out the free month? or will it just extend it for a total of 13 months? Anyone know?
  22. Cherry Mash was a candy from a long long long long long time ago. LOL http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d77/kmbrly999/2352911981_b7a75ba65f.jpg
  23. Mmmmmm, no, but I'll try to find one. I haven't had those in years. I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. My sister asked me when she was here last week if I knew how to make peanut patties, so I have to find a recipe for that one too. She wants peanut patties and peanut brittle. Edit to add: I found this recipe for Cherry Mash. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d77/kmbrly999/cherry_mash_big.jpg Container: saucepan, 9x9 baking dish Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Serving Description: 1 square Servings: 30 Ingredients - 1 cup sugar - 2 tablespoons butter - 1/4 teaspoon salt - 1/3 cup evaporated milk - 1 cup mini marshmallows - 1 cup cherry chips - 1 cup chocolate chips - 1/2 cup peanut butter - 1 cup peanuts - chopped Directions Combine sugar, butter, salt and milk in a saucepan. Boil over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in marshmallows and cherry chips. Stir until all is melted and combined. Line a 9x9 baking dish with tin foil making sure that there is extra coming up on two sides that can act as handles. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Melt chocolate chips with peanut butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Stir in chopped peanuts. Spread over the cherry layer. Allow to cool in the refrigerator for 2 hours. When cool, cut into small squares.
  24. I made these and sent with the Cookie Exchange. I didn't put nuts in them though, I didn't know about that variation. I've made lots of cookies in the past couple of weeks, but I haven't made any candy (yet). My BIL makes the best fudge. My favorite part of the holidays is Ronnie Fudge.
