I kind of glad it is over this year. I have packed everything away now till next year. I did a thorough cleaning this morning, took out 6 huge bags of trash. It is nice to have the house back to its normal self and all the extra clutter is gone. I love Christmas but now I am looking forward to some New Years resolutions and working on "me" instead of everyone else for the holidays. Hey you can always shop now for bargains for next Christmas

None of the Axe sets were marked down here yet. Only specifically Christmasy items were marked down. I got 2 of the glad square 5 pk containers in green for about $1.50...everything else GONE

I got lots of nice things from my SS. I got a new keyboard and a Price is Right wii game from Ds's Stocking will be opened before bed tonight. must have been very good this year,lol

I just wanted to say a special thanks to my SS. AMAZING!!! I got 3 new Ann Rule books, a snowman mug set, nice handmande soaps, candle, emery board, pens, a wonderful irish carved sculpture (already went on my Irish shelf), makeup brush set, calendar, gingerbread pen set. She went way out of her way to indulge me on Christmas It was so nice to have gifts to open on Christmas Day.Once again thanks so much. You are wonderful! You made my day.... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.

Wrap, put stockings together. Lord knows I cannot get to a store, The stupid Patriots have a game at 1:00 today and the traffic is beyond crazy. I HATE Tom Brady and has band of merry linebackers! Arghhhh. Yes I was here before them in case anyone wonders! The stadium is right near us.

Well Happy Birthday PackerGurl and you are right the birthday person does deserve their own special day:fluffy: Christmas is my Aunts b-day too and she had 1 son on her 25th birthday, then had twin boys on her 40th birthday (SURPRISE). They have 8 boys btw, lol. No girls at all.

Ohhh how were the Almond Joy bars to make? How did they taste? My two favorite candy bars are Zero (which are very hard to find here) and Almond Joys. This could potentially become a problem, lol

Like Jen I was done..then made the mistake of going to the store...arghhhh! I am not wrapping all the pets gifts! Scratch posts, cans of tuna, alfalfa, igloo, yogurt chips, and mango medley with merigolds!

I have but I am waiting for Christmas to open them..there are alot of them my SS was too good to me. I can tell:fluffy:

Here we usually get Pizza or Chinese Christmas Eve. We each open 1 gift. We watch a Christmas movie too. We also put up our tree, usually on the morning of the 24th Christmas Day we get up, eat monkey bread, then open our gifts and relax or clean up the mess. We then eat a late lunch of ham, broccoli/cheese casserole, loaded potatoes, salad, veggie plate, rolls and various pastry but always cheesecake. Everyone grazes throughout the day. . On Christmas night about 8pm we open our stockings. I started this with the kids as it seemed that the day was over to the kids just too soon and saving the stockings till night gave them something to look forward too. I try to put a nicer gift in each stocking (ie watch or gift card, small but nice lol) now that they are adults I do a few scratch tickets too. So what are your traditions?
