I got the cards done today, gifts all set, SS and OE. I just need to wait till payday on Friday to be able to mail them out. Wow this time of the year is pricey lol!

Our local plaza (which has a BB) let it be known that the plaza was closing at 7pm on Weds night and would not re-open until 11:30 pm on Thursday night). They also had cops at the entrance to prohibit entrance to the parking lot. Cars also were not allowed to line up and park on the streets in front. People were warned that they would be charged with trespassing. I heard the merchants did not want the hassle of "loiterers". I did not go so I cannot say what happened, however I did not hear of any problems.

I have been here for 6 years now...I love this site, it is my absolute favorite! I have made some good online friends and scored some great deals. You can't get rid of me, unless I get banned hope that never happens...I'd go through withdrawals!

same here. I went to the local Target yesterday they were moving the doorbusters to the front of the store trying to sell them. BTW this was 4:30 pm, it was quiet there

I waitlisted several things and got ZERO response from Amazon...no notifications at all

If you are on a waitlist for an item how do you know if you end up getting the item? I have checked my account on amazon, my email, cart, wish list etc. I see nothing so I assume I did not get it? One said poor chance but one said good? I am so tired and confused:blush: I should go out to the local stores...that would wake me up the crowds, the fighting and not to mention it is 19 degrees right now sorry if this is a stupid question...

Well if you are on a tight budget and want these items... lol I went to Five Below and did really well. I got this metal stand that it (sons ipad2) sits on, they had all sorts of covers, cases and screen protectors all $5 or less Seriously you can get some great deals in this store, imho

Get up, shower, go to the movie for 11am (new Muppets movie) then head out to Kowloon (chinese restaurant) for our lunch then back home by 5ish. Typical T-day in this house .....and we wouldn't have it any other way lol

This thread makes me sad My Mom died when I just turned 18. I never go to do the grown up mother-daughter things..I am envious of you that are lucky enough to still have your Moms. I don't have a daughter either but am hoping for a couple of nice daughters in law and grandaughters someday Moms do so much without saying a word or expecting anything in return..buy them whatever is best but always remember to love and appreciate them and let them know it.

My neighbor had me come over and be her guinea pig for her practice dessert for T-day. It was sooooooo goood. 1 container of SF cool whip 1 cup milk 1 pkg pumpkin spice jello pudding mix mix all together and voila a delicious and low fat/low calorie mousse. I suggested using it with gingerbread for a trifle. It was so light and airy and good too

Wrentham outlet pays a hefty fine to the town of Wrentham to do this. I have friends that work there and HATE this..esp the Coach store employees. Last year 495 was backed up for miles in both directtions. Traffic started at about 7 pm and never stopped for > 24 hrs. No thanks...that place is not a bargain imho.
