Jeez u guys got me all excited when I read Mansfield..I thought we were going to get out own Target....I am in Mansfield, Massachusetts Oh well it was such a nice thought too! I don't think there are any Super Targets in all of New England.. we just got a Super Walmart about 20 miles from here and I don't think there are too many others around here. BTW the starting price for a fixer upper around here is about 300k..most new homes go for about 1.2 million and up. I rent and even rent around here is outrageous..a 2 bedroom w/o utilities (900-1100 sq ft) starts at about $1100 but mostly is around $1400+ I don't know who these people are who can afford these homes but it isn't me or any of my friends:gdcry:

Today I got a great deal at Target. I was in the kitchen appliance area and the clerk was marking things down. I got the Showtime Rotisserie with all the bonus accessories for $49.88:gdclap: I also got a 6 qt Hamilton Beach slow cooker (white) for $12.48 they also still have many backpacks for 75% off. I got 9 weight watcher dinners, 3 WW desserts, deli meat, cheese, 4 stocking stuffers and 3 computer games for a grand total of $109.52. I had a free $100 GC from switching to verizon..so my out of pocket expense was $9.52

I got a new 6 qt slow cooker today, it is a Hamilton Beach and it was on clearance for $12.49..it is white with a removable liner. I got it at Target.

I have had really good luck finding everything for retro candy at www.yummies.com they have a giant store but they also have an internet business. I really miss Zero bars...they were my favorite:2wiggle:

Wow $40 for both meetings and online? That sounds very cheap to me. I know last time I went it was $15 per week plus I paid for registration too. That alone would be $60 not even counting the registration. Plus you did not get online membership with that Is there a code or number for that. I need to do something

Wow some of you start school so early..we don't start again until 9/11 this year that is kind of an ominous day to start:confused: now that I think of it. We also don't end classes until the very end of June either.

Ask your pedi for samples (we get tons of samples of triple paste) Also call or email the company for coupons and/or free samples FYI did you know that if you apply a small amount of Triple paste (or any other heavy duty diaper ointment) then cover it with vaseline or a&d, it will keep the triple paste on the skin better and everytime they pee or poop the "medicine" will stay on their skin and be allowed to work better. See the fascinating things one knows from working in Pedi for almost 20 years

I got my DS's on ebay last year. It was brand new and it was about $55 total.

Just FYI since nutramigen is a hypoallergenic formula many insurances will pay for it. Check with your pedi and ask them to write you a script and see if your ins co will cover it. Most do

my ds loved his and the games are really cheap now. you can get lots of used games for just a few $$$

Off topic here (well sort of since Gator Pam started these threads) where is she? I have not seen a post from her in ages. I like all her recipes and just her posts in general. Isn't it weird how we don't really know each other per se but we do wonder and worry when a regular isn't around? I am still wondering about Miranda (SuperMommy) and hoping that everything is ok with her daughter who faces so many challenges? If anyone knows anything can you please post..I am sure I am not the only one who misses them. Sorry no more thread jacking from me...I promise

I am looking to find a free day pass to Sams...we use BJ's and are happy with it however there is a Sams that opened up about 45 minutes away and I have people telling me how cheap it is etc. I don't want to go in and buy a membership if I don't think it is a better deal than BJ's (which is closer and I get for free through my job).

I went to Target twice yesterday (the same store, go figure) and they had Bissell carpet cleaners on clearance, I think they were 30% off. They had a few picked over toys but my best deal was a video game rocker chair, they were marked down to $9.98 and were originally $24.99 I think. They sit right on the floor and they can recline back and they have little rocker bars on the bottom of the chair. My DS loves it. They came in black, red and a pretty aqua color. The material is a suede like. Good deal, IMHO

Yes those Christmas rooms are always set up, it is a permanent display. It is so amazing, espcially when it snows in there. They also have a candle making room and Santa and his toy shop and a restaurant and a room with "seconds" although the candles looked fine to me. I am not sure what route it is off of, we were looking at Westfield State College for my son and it is not too far from there. IMHO it is well worth the trip, plan on spending most of the day and bring your camera

slightly off topic here but check out the Yankee Candle Website www.yankeecandle.com Check out their flagship store in South Deerfield, Mass. It is incredible, they have rooms that are huge and decorated in all Christmas designs from different parts of the world and it actually snows in there. Simply Amazing. They also have restaurant, food shop, Toy Shop and awesome live Santa in the toy shop, they have a small farm etc. It is a couple of hours from here but it is so much fun. Even the boys liked it If you are ever in western mass..check it out..worth the trip

when I called to inquire about monthly service..the woman was very rude. She said NO..you can only pay by 6 month or 1 year increments..no exceptions. I decided even though I own the receiver I didn't need it that much:no:

My only guess would be call Toshiba or try Ebay..not overly quick but it is all I can think of for now. Good Luck in finding one soon
