My DS will be turning 21 in February and he wants an Ipod. I went to Best Buy but left more confused than I was when I went in:eek: What size GB to buy, is the touch screen worth the money etc? He listens to lots of music and his college offers them free music downloads via their own website. He also wants to be able to connect it to his car stereo, does that make a difference. TIA

I know this has been brought up before but...has anyone heard anything from Gator Pam:confused: She was a very active poster here and I loved all her recipes and Target tips. I hope she is alright..but I have not seen anything from her in about a year or so. Just wondering/concerned? Any info appreciated :)

Well we have PS2 but it is hooked up elsewhere. We have a Plasma tv, and direct tv and we have both X-Box 360 and a Wii all hooked up..no problems (of course DS20 did all the installations) He said you need a HDMI cable and you may need those red,white yellow ones but that should be it. Good Luck

I got mine at Walmart later in the season for a big discount. They are very pricey normally. I have also seen good prices at Kohls on sale.

We already have one, it is not that small, I would say it was an average backpack size. It certainly holds quite a bit and for the money, you could not go wrong. Espcially with the lifetime guarantee

I just got back from the Target in Easton. I got some lock and lock containers for $1.24 each, these are the best storage things IMHO better than Tupperware. I also got a Black and Decker 24V cordless drill kit for $12.48, it comes with a carrying case and lots of extra drill bits..that was 75% off too. I got DS20 some hiking boots for $6.48 and I got myself some dress shoes for $5.48. They were marking down the kitchen gadgets/appliances when I was there, mixers, blenders etc. Nothing great to be found in clothes or electronics...yet;)

I got 2, a powder blue and a gray, red is sold out. BTW I called to place my order and the cs rep said they were selling out like crazy. You may want to order this ASAP if you are considering it. I had a $15 LL Bean gc and my total came to $1.80..not a bad deal

Why don't you just wait and buy the Patriots Super Bowl Champs hat and tee shirt for this year:tongue1: Don't you want the most current style:confused: According to the news and some exercise physiologist the SD Chargers will have a very difficult time with the weather predicted for tomorrows game here (high 18 degrees but with wind chill it will feel like 10 below zero). I for one am glad that I can just watch it on tv on my nice warm couch with my blanket and appetizers and not have to trek to the bathroom and wait in line:yup: GO PATS!!!!

Well these ones I was asking about don't have a zipper. They are made by Debbie Myers and are actually available at www.hsn.com You get 50 reusable bags of all different sizes for $20. I think I may order them and give it a try. I will post my opinion after I use them;)

I too agree with PP Kitchenaid. I got mine at QVC and love it. It was even on easy pay and had a rebate www.qvc.com Although I have to say we bought a Magic Bullet and LOVE it..it does everything including food processing.

I was at my local CTS last night and I was I was walking in, the manager announced that anything Christmas was a nickel:eek: They had stockings, bags, barbie and hot wheels ornaments, christmas cookbooks, stocking holders, garland, tinsel etc. I got a huge glittery gold star that hangs on the wall for a nickel too!!! I got bags and bags of stuff for less than $4.00. Oh yeah I also got a Christmas lamp and shade plus dishes for 5 cents!! I was very excited..of course I probably didn't need all this stuff but I couldn't pass up that sale;)

Has anybody used those green bags that supposedly make your fruits and veggies last longer. I saw Debbie Myers Green Bags on QVC and then those little balls that you fill with something and put in your crisper. Are they worth the money..I know that you can reuse them several times. I am sick of paying for expensive lettuce/salad/strawberries etc and they go bad within a couple of days!

According to Aerobed > 30% of people who buy them use them daily. Hey they are very comfortable and you can adjust the firmness, the tops are nice and have a brushed suede like material so the sheets don't slide off and they are cheap in comparison to a "real" bed.

I think that Aerobed is one of the better brands. We have one that we got from QVC and it is wonderful. It has the built in pumps and this one is the built in box spring and it is about 22" high. When we have guests I make it up and it looks just like a real bed. Good Luck

GNC or just google essential oils and it brings you to lots of websites. I thought Simple Green was all natural etc. My Mom always cleaned with white vinegar and rubbing alcohol (not mixed together) and my house growing up was always immaculate. God Bless her, if she could see this place she would not be impressed:no: No vermin or anything, basically clean just too much crap/clutter. Its all those damned sales you people tempt me to

Does anyone know where to get a free day pass for Costco or Sams? I'd like to check them out. I get a free BJ's membership with my job and I do like BJ's but it doesn't hurt to check out other options
