How about a visa or AE gift card..that does not limit them to one particular store and they can even buy online.

  5. We do Chinese food and a new movie usually with a Christmas theme You can also go here www.plimothplantation.com and bid on your own pilgrims to come to your house and do everything for you We live about 1/2 hr from here and the poor kids get dragged to that and Plymouth Rock almost every school year:(
  6. My ds 21 currently lives in the UK at college but will be home for Christmas and then back to his college here in the US. Anyways he is in desperate need of a new bed, he has a mattress and a box spring (broken) on the floor:blush: Anyways are there ever BF sales on furniture and do you think this will be a tacky gift? He loves electronics and mostly video games but I was thinking a bedroom set would be more practical as he still lives here in the summer and breaks. I would like for him to have it when he moves out in a couple of years for his own place Please tell me your honest opinions
  7. I got an audiovox 9" screen with a car charger, elec charger, 2 sets of headphones, carrying case plus a case that hangs from the headrest for car viewing. I got it at BJ's for $70, it works great and it also plays cds and has a port to plug in video games
  8. Schools around here have all but banned Christmas. They can however have Winter Celebration or Winter Solstice. No Christmas carols, no Christmas specific foods etc, etc They have to be politically correct to people who are not Christian and be respectful and not shove the holiday down their throats. This of course does not apply to private and parochial schools Sometimes all this being PC just sucks I think we all should be respectful of others beliefs however
  9. OK how come the 2 I like are $144 and $154 I am afraid to go out in a bathing suit...I may get harpooned

  13. We generally will have some snow on the ground and it may or may not snow while waiting in line. I think I may be doing my BF shopping on line this year however..just too chaotic to wait and then they don't have it in stock etc etc I can stay in my sweats and drink cocoa and get some on line bargains Paying the shipping seems worth it to me in the long run
