  1. We never go in to Kohls on BF, but a couple years ago I did A LOT of online shopping there and didn't have a single problem. I'm excited to see this ad.
  2. I heard that the other day as well. This makes me happy . I just really really wish they would put the country Christmas station on the radio (it's online only).
  3. I think, in addition to budgetsRsexy using these for her BINGO game, we should all compile them into a list and then check back in after BF with how many we were able to check off.
  4. I don't know what a hatchimal is, but suddenly I feel I can't live without one. LOL
  5. Is it kind of like Garden Ridge?
  6. I keep everything in an Excel spreadsheet, and I keep the spreadsheet in Dropbox so I can get to it from my work computer, my home computer, my phone, or my tablet. Before we go out shopping, though, we still write everything down on a note pad (store, item, price, time, etc). And we take the ads with us, but honestly there is ZERO organization to them and they usually end up all over the floorboards of the car by the end of the day.
  7. LOL. The "Black Friday Starts Now" caught my attention for a second too. Then I remembered this is an ad for Thanksgiving day. .
  8. Yes, you should be able to do that as long as they can give you a tracking #.
  9. They just recently opened an At Home in my hometown. I haven't been there, didn't really know what it was, so I'm glad to see this ad.
  10. I'll try to be on, if I get home and settled in on time.
  11. What a fun idea! I'm so glad you found a reason to go. How about: screaming babythat person that decides NOT to wait in line, so leaves a whole cart of stuff and walks outthat person doing their grocery shopping during the BF sale (I see at least 1 every year)
  12. What they said. LOL. No, really, that's kind of how I used to explain things to my kids. I would say Santa has helpers all over the place and the companies that make those things are some of his helpers, but they have to be paid. Of course, I also told them that all mama's get Santa's phone # when their first child is born and he consults with us on any gifts out of the ordinary. Which was why they couldn't get lizards or shotguns from Santa .
  13. Well, it's been over a week and my order still says "Processing". That does not bode well for this company in my opinion. Maybe I'm just impatient. At this point, I'm really glad I didn't go ahead and return the set I bought from QVC.
  14. We picked up the big sale tree at HD the last 2 years (2 years ago for my son & dil, last year for me). Our Home Depot already had the trees loaded in carts both years.
  15. That's awesome!
  16. Congratulations all!
  17. So glad you checked in Dev. You take care of you and yours, and know we're all behind you.
  18. PMs with your info lists for Secret Santa AND Ornament Exchanges have been sent. If you signed up, but did not receive a PM from me, please let me know. Let the shopping begin!
  19. Addresses for the card exchange have been sent out. If you signed up for the card exchange, and I did not send you the list, please let me know ASAP. Thanks!!
  20. I'm not sure how realistic you're looking for, but I bought this one on BF at Home Depot last year and I really like it. http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k499/ts1852/HomeDepot-2015-1%202.jpg
  21. Last day to sign up! Please check the lists in the original post, and make sure I have you down. Thanks!
  22. We always have a couple DG items on our lists, but we usually end up not making it there. I see a few things that will at least make the list again this year. **I can't help but laugh at the items that are "buy one get one free", they have a disclaimer that says "Must purchase 2 to get discount price". lol
  23. That's a favorite of some of my cousins, and I seriously get hated on if I show up without it. LOL. It's really simple - 1 8oz package of cream cheese 1-2 of the big bowls of Cool Whip, depending on how creamy you like it. I usually use about 1.5 bowls in the mix, then use half a bowl to top it because this is not a pretty dessert. 7-10(ish) granny smith apples 8(ish) regular size Snickers bars, diced (or, if you buy the little bags of unwrapped snickers bites, I use about 2 bags. cut them in half, or quarter them) mix it all together, and you have Snickers Salad. Mix the cream cheese into the cool whip first, then fold in the candy and apples. The more candy and apples you add, the tougher it gets to stir. The hardest part is cutting the Snickers bars. I'm going to attempt to use my new KitchenAid food processor dicing kit this year - but I don't know how it'll handle the caramel or how easy it'll clean up.
  24. 2 more days to sign up!
  25. We will have the usual Thanksgiving fare...Turkey and all the trimmings. I will be responsible for deviled eggs and for snickers salad. There will be pies and cakes and cookies for dessert. We will be at my aunt's house, which is about 30 minutes away from my mom's house (which is BF central for my little group). We'll eat around noon, chat for just a bit, do the dishes, and be out of there by 1:30 or 2:00. My aunt and cousins all go BF shopping too, so they're kind of pushing us out the door by that point so they can make their own gameplan . We'll meet at Mom's and go through the ads, even though we've seen them all already there's something about sitting 'round the table with the papers all strewn about.
