We love you!

I admit, I start early. Usually, I start in July when the Christmas in July sales get me in the mood. I don't listen A LOT in July, but it increases a little in August. Then once we get to the "ber" months, it's on . The 3-4 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas just aren't nearly enough!

The first contest, I'm so excited!! I'm going with Harbor Freight, October 11.

I've gotten quite a bit. I'm just about done with all 4 grands. Might need a few more little things for the youngest 2, but they're easy. About halfway done with the extended family. My DIL is always easiest, and I've gotten her big gifts. My sons are always the hardest, but I'm chiseling away at them.

100 DAYS! I think. My countdown always seems to be 1 day off from Brad's countdown. So, maybe 101 Days!

The ones I saw were $26. $15 isn't too bad.

I have to say, all this activity in the Black Friday forums today has me feeling all giddy. LOL

It's definitely the time of year the anticipation starts kicking in!

Christmas in July always gets me ready for the Black Friday season. Now I'll spend the next 3 months or so on pins and needles waiting on the site to really get into it.

I broke down and bought a tin of Harry London chocolates, to be delivered in December, this weekend. Also ordered some Mrs. Prindables apples. Of course, my intention is to use it all in gifts, but we will see. LOL

If you love buying Christmas gifts, but hate wrapping them (Like me!), these drawstring gift bags are awesome. I was iffy about them before I bought them last year, because so many of them were small bags. I used every single one of them. I bought more on Prime Day this year than the last 2 years combined. I don't know if they offered better deals, or if I just happened to be in need of what they were offering.

The saddest part of that post, for me, is we don't even pretend to call it Black Friday anymore.

It's hard to believe we're halfway there already. This year is flying.

I had a horrible dream last night. I dreamed it was Thanksgiving day. My sister and I got back to Mom's house after dinner, and I had no idea what to do next. I had no plan. I said "I haven't looked at any of the ads! I haven't even logged IN to Gottadeal, once! I didn't buy a paper or anything!" You guys can't ever leave me, because I never want to feel like that again. LOL

I have a couple more things to get paid off, then I have a plan/budget to START saving for Christmas in July. Hopefully, I can stick to it and not find other things to do with that money.

Just 8 months from today!

If we hit a certain threshold, we get quarterly profit sharing checks. I say I don't count on those, because we don't always hit the mark, but I sure count on 3rd quarter for Christmas money! Saving is not something I am any good at, unfortunately.
