A few people have notified me they've shipped their packages, but only one person has said they've received anything. PLEASE be sure to post here when you receive yours, even if you are waiting until Christmas to open.

Ah, so that's why you're looking for a Christmas tree . Does she want a small one for in her room, then? I love it that she's asked for office supplies. She'll be the boss of us all one of these days.

Depends on your taste, and your budget, I guess. If it were me, I would suggest looking at Walmart or Big Lots. In my opinion, trees are just way too expensive if you can't get them on sale. So, if I had to have one right now, I would buy the cheapest one I could find then the few days after Christmas when everything is marked way down, I would buy a nicer one for next year. If you can afford it, they have gorgeous trees at Hobby Lobby. And even more gorgeous ones at Christmas specialty shops, if there are any in your area. We have a little store called North Pole City, and I could hang out in there all day just enjoying their trees.

Wow! I shared several of the FB posts, but my thought was "Hey - y'all go to Gottadeal.com and check this out!" LOL. They should know how much easier it is to find the discussion if they come here.

Supposedly, the 3 wick candles will be $9 this weekend. Not sure if they will be on the 3rd or the 4th.

All of my orders have changed from "processing" to "shipped". Yay! (I did not have any DVDs)

Congratulations to the winners - That's exciting! So, I'm not asking you to do any math that isn't already done. But, if you have them, I would be interested to know how many total posts there were, compared to last year. I see there was approximately 2000 difference for this contest purposes but that includes double entries. I guess I'm just curious if there was really that big a difference in participation this year.

8 of my 15 items still show "Processing". 3 of those show an Arrive By date of 11/30. We shall see. Yesterday, I went to pick up the items I've received ready for pick up notifications on, and they said they "hadn't been binned" and it would take her a while to dig through everything. She said sometimes those emails go out when the items reach the store, but they haven't sorted everything yet. I don't really think she knew what she was talking about, because I received the notifications on Friday but I told her as long as she didn't re-stock my items and cancel my order I would just come back later in the week.

Yep, another Black Friday season has come and gone. Feels like it went so fast! I love Christmas, and I love that BF ushers in the Christmas season, but I look so forward to all this all year, every year. I count down to the 100 day countdown, usually starting in July. LOL. I do, of course, hang around Gottadeal all year. And, of course we have the holiday discussions for the next month. But I wanted to say now that I will miss you all until we are back here again next year. I, too, want to thank Brad and all of you all for all the discussions, the questions asked and answered, the contests, the webcasts, the FUN!

My vote is for keeping the separate forums. You might consolidate some of them. So, you might have a Walmart forum and that would cover general Walmart discussion, the leaked ad, and the online sales. Personally, I would prefer you keep those separate too, but it's a thought.

just got home and logged on to Amazon only to see I just missed the $70 32" TV. I actually figured I missed it sometime early this morning, and I wasn't too worried about it until I saw it there...100% claimed, waitlist full.

Ordered the Firestick and the Dot.

Got everything on my Walmart list, except the 2 pack basketball shorts. We will have to go there anyway, so hopefully I can pick those up in store.

Hugs to you, Mama. It's so hard to let go, even when our heads are telling us it's the thing to do. Maybe he could spend the night this year, and instead of opening gifts Christmas morning, you could have a nice breakfast. Then open gifts when the gf can be there too. Because our kids are growing up and 3 of them are married, we have set the Saturday after Christmas as our Christmas at my mom's. That way, the married kids don't have to worry and can do what they need to do with their own families/in-law families. And, every year, we KNOW what we are doing so there is no excuse for planning something else for that day. My sisters and I, however, still go to my mom's, just to hang out. Because it's Christmas Day and that's where we are supposed to be. This first year will be tough, but then it will get easier. One other thought - Please don't feel like it's not okay for you to feel how you feel. You put 24 years into this. You have the right to mourn what was.

If you can order it online, I would recommend it.

I'm not going to try to convince you of any such thing. LOL. I have said before I am SO glad my kids were grown before these became a thing. Having said that, my youngest son was always into skateboards, rip sticks, that kind of thing. If he had wanted one of these, and I'd had the means, I probably would have gotten it for him. No, they aren't "safe". But that's a relative term. At least they aren't riding these things down handrails or trying to jump concrete borders (yet!). Good luck, and let us know how it goes!

This is true, but I think it depends on who you're buying for. I buy it for my son every year. When I get a card, great. When I don't, I print the number and put it in an envelope. Either way works, and he doesn't care if he has the card in hand.
