Not necessarily. Last year they had their doorbusters(at least MOST)online...and then they had the mail in rebate on the shipping...so it didn't cost anything...so u may be able to get it online and save a trip.

Thank you for my fix.

You buy gifts for your ex? Or was he not ex at the time. The only thing I'd give my ex is this , this , and this .
-
Oh yeah I have withdrawal...but I find other sales thru out the year to keep me goin.
-
I think it all depends on what's on sale and how badly people want it. If it's a year where there's an item that is in high demand it's gonna be worse. I went while pregnant w/ all 3 of my girls and I found that some years people were alot nicer than others.

Not to mention she won't be able to shop...how much worse can it get????
-
I wonder why the difference? Kinda sucks for us online buyers.
-
Well good luck to her. Tell her after she gets off she's gonna need this...

I plan on doing it as time allows this year. That probably means at 2 in the morning on Christmas...lol.

I don't know yet. This will be our first year going to his family's house(s). But when I was married to my ex...I LOVED it. We always went to his grandmothers for either Christmas eve(or a few days before) and then his mom's on Christmas and New Year's. It was always a lot of fun. Loved his family...just not him...kinda a shame. I think as long as hubby's family has it as his grandparents house it will be ok. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

[/font] OMGosh...I got that same Elmo tin. And what was even better...we didn't get there til like 9 or later and they still had several. We had went to Walmart first. And you know it doesn't cost them all that much to give that stuff away...but I think they stopped because they DON'T have to. I mean if people are going to come anyway....why bother w/ the gift to lure them in...kwim?

Well I joked about Ace hardware and it has come back to bite me in the butt...lol. I WANT those traytables. Used to have a set I bought at Walmart in 2000. Been wanting another set but wouldn't pay the $29.99 that everyone wanted. So glad I waited...just hope I can make it over to get a set. Maybe I can get in and out of Walmart quick.

Tell me about it. I asked at WalMart the other day...one said they would be closing...the other said no. They have no clue. Guess I'll b calling the Wednesday before to ask.
-
I will be pm'ing at WalMart also. Been doing it for a few years now. And to answer your question No...Kmart no longer price matches.

In years past we have went out to eat..and some years i even went back to bed. But this year we are going to spend most of the day shopping and then go see a movie or 2 after. We don't get to go out w/ out the kids very often so we are planning on taking advantage.

I am hoping to find some of the stuff on Ebay. But, hoping not to get ripped off like I did for hubs b-day.

Thanks for the post. Can't wait til tomorrow!!

Used to live less than 5 mins from WalMart but now the closest one is 65 miles(about an hr drive time).
-
We will be spending much less than last year...simply because hubby makes half as much here as he did there and I am not working...so money is TIGHT.

I am hoping it's like the one I bought for 29. Mine is a wireless keyboard and mouse by MICRO industries. I need a new one because the girls spilled something in my mouse and ruined it. Been using my corded optical one for a couple months and it's drivin me nuts.

Last year I know a couple of the Game places did participate because we made a stop after Radio Shack at one. They weren't all that busy either. HTH.

WalMart is always first. Just hoping that I can get a tv online elsewhere for a good deal w/ free shipping. That's not asking too much is it???

Why is it others insist on putting their in? Hubby has one family member who insists on telling me how to raise my 10 month old. Now I could see if she had several more children than I or if my kids were messed up...but she has one and this baby makes #4 and my others are happy and healthy and everyone adores them. Ok gettin down off my
