I'd do the same thing.

I went in store to pick a couple of these up last night. I saw it wasn't marked as having a rebate and asked about it. The employee looked it up and price matched it in store instanlty, so I got them for $12.99 with no rebates. Just thought I'd share.

You have to have a Kohl's credit card. You'll get 1 monthly. If you don't have a card, you get 15% off when you sign up for the card as well.
-
Kohls rarely has more than 50% off. There are a few things in store that are over 50% off and they have pretty good selection of 80% off clearance items. I went last night with my wife and we used our 10$ cards and 15% off coupon and paid $55 for about $350 worth of stuff. I got a pair of $70 shoes for $12 before the 15% off! We got some great x-mas presents for each other for some really great prices.

I went to Menards after a few other stores and it was a mad house, so I left and tried home depot which was out of the ladder and the wet/dry vac. I tried 2 more home depot's and they were both also out. I did get the 18 piece grill tool set for $18 at the last home depot though.

I'm unsure of how I got it. I did't even know I was going to get it until the cashier handed it to me after I paid. I didn't really ask any questions since it was just a nice surprise. If I go out tomorrow I'll swing by and ask about it for you.

So, my wife went to Best Buy at midnight while I went to CompUSA to get the 20" Olevia LCD TV. I didn't get back to best buy until 3:15 since the lines at CompUSA go so slow with all the rebate reciepts printing out. Anyways, we waited in line and we were about 20th. We got a voucher for the Kodak cameras and the guy in front of us got the last laptop ticket. I wanted one to give to my mom for christmas, and a second for my little sisters boyfried who was a little further back in line. About 10 minutes after they were handed out, I went up to the front of the line and simply asked if anyone had changed their mind (I did it half jokingly). Well, it turns out one guy had changed his mind. Then I saw a guy who was behind me in line last BF and he told me he was buying it simply for the free printer. Well, I worked it out with him and I bought the printer and he gave the the tax and everything for it, so it cost me $70 more in the short term, but this way I was able to get 2 laptop tickets! I just thought I'd say it doesn't hurt to ask.

I went there and got a Canon A520 digital camera for $200 minus $75 rebate, and I also got a $20 gift card, so it was basically $105 for the A520

bump feel free to give more PM's you plan on doing
-
Yup, I sure am dumb. Enjoy your POS TV:2wiggle: PS - Opinions are exactly that, an opinion.
-
Do you really think they'll be out of photoshop? I'd say you probably represent 1/2 of the people that will buy it at your store. If they don't let you PM it, just buy another one, then return the full priced one on saturday.
-
I still don't think it will be HD, I'd put money that it'll be ED. I would tell you to get neither, but if you must get one, go look at both and choose for yourself. I've seen the Maxent at 2 BB's in person and it looked like garbage at both. I think buying that would literally be a waste of $1k. I know nothing about the actual TV Walmart will offer, so I can't comment on that. Worst comes to worst, I guess you can return it if you think the picture is crappy. I've said it before and I'll say it again, save yourself $100 and get the Westinghouse 32" HD LCD TV from BB that is available today for $899 (normally $1299)
-
Well, I went through the ads and updated the list with what I thought would be the hotter items that you can PM. I obviously didn't go through them all, and it was more of a skim, so if you have any more, post up so I can update it.

Best Buy has a Hisense 20" LCD TV, it's around $300. If that's the one you mean, it's not bad. I'd reccomend the 20" Olevia TV at Comp USA instead though.
-
Noone is planning on the $70 7" one at Best Buy? I'm getting that one just because I'm waiting in line there anyways.

The Kmart ad is exactly as scanned in the forums. YOu could also go to their online site and look at it. Just trying to save you from buying a paper.
-
I thought they were closing layaway until after the doorbusters ended?
-
Anyone else? Other obvious PM's would be the cheap video games and DVD's other stores have. Just wondering what else is out there for PM. As people add things, I'll edit my first post and make a list.
-
Hah, good call. So far, every ad realeased in print and online has been the same, I highly doubt they would (or could) re-market and produce new ads that fast.
-
I haven't seen it yet, and I thought ti would be really advantageous if we had a list of everything that Walmart has that other stores also have for doorbusters. I figure anyone can post anything they plam on PMing at WM so everyone doesn't have to spend the time looking things up. Sorry, I don't have anything to start off the list, which is another motivator for starting one . Remember that it has to be a price without MIR or they won't PM it. There's a pretty nice MAG 19" LCD at best buy for $170 I believe, not sure about DVI though. Here's the monitor: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7229554&type=product&id=1115363845331

AS far as I can tell, you'll get the $100 rebate online as well. I wouldn't worry so much about it, the projectors aren't that hot of an item yet. I plan on ordering it as soon as you can, just need to find out how early you can order them online.

Don't tell them? Assuming one of you is paying in cash they could never tell, and if they try anything, just be adament about it since they have no proof that you live in the same household.
