  1. Microcenter is a real brick and mortar shop, so you should be fine ordering from them. Just make sure it's actually microcenter I called around and everyone sold out of them. I really didn't think there'd be enough people in line to buy them out everywhere.
  2. There's definitly more wii's out. Most BBs got ~15 PS3's and it sounds like they're getting 60-70 wii's.
  3. BB and Target are selling them in the morning. Wlarmart is the only one that I know of that's selling them tonight.
  4. my local WM had 25 in line when I went there at 10. They only had 20, so I figure I'll try BB and Target. One BB todl me tey're getting 68, and there's 3 more BB's and Targets within 15 miles, so I'll hit them all if I have to. We'll see how that turns out, lol.

    TRU clearance games

I was at TRU earlier today and I got Shout about movies v3 and v4 for $1.10 each. They had Shout about TV for $2.20. They also had a talking automatic blackjack game that knows what your cards are for $3.50. Lastly I got a electronic game that reminded me of catch phrase, I can't remember the name, but it was $2.50. They had regular white price labels on them and didn't stick out so you have to look. I got these along with sorry and battleship since they're both on sale and have rebates. On top of all that I used one of the $5 off coupons. It was a very succesful trip, just thought I'd tell everyone to keep a look out for cheap board games.
  6. The $189 eMachine at Best Buy is plenty PC for 90% of the people here. It'll handle all basic video games, and any regular applications just fine. I think you'd be happy with that.
  7. MCE is Windows XP Media Center Edition. It's basically the same as windows XP, except it's set up with a "front end" (graphic interface that looks purty) that's easy for watching TV (if you have a TV tuner in the PC) and for watching movies, listening to music, viewing pictures, etc, etc. It's just Win XP that's more media friendly. The big thing about it for me is that right now, a Win XP home PC gets a free upgrade to Win Vista Home Basic. Win XP MCE upgrades to Win Vista Home Premium that has quite a bit more features.
  8. My local Walmart also has 20, and MAYBE 9 more coming before midnight. From everyone's posts, it seems that all of them are getting the same quantity. I'm going to try walmart and best buy tonight. Then Target in the morning.
  9. It's still available, but I decided against it. I don't want to go through the hassle of paying so much now and returning 75% of the games because I don't want them. They don't even have Zelda in the list. I'll wait for Sunday, and if I don't get it then, I'll just rock out my PS2 and Gamecube till I get a Wii.

  11. Here's a cutout from the AD posted already. Basically says what I thought. They price match as long as you bring it in during that time. As long as it's not an earlybird item, you should be able to get it pricematched. They've got their policy online as well here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?type=page&entryURLType=&entryURLID=&categoryId=cat10001&contentId=1118843518460&id=cat12098 I particularily like this section here: "What if I find a lower price at another Best Buy store or on BestBuy.com? If an item you purchased at Best Buy is advertised at a lower price at another Best Buy store in your local area or on BestBuy.com within 30 days of your original receipt purchase (14 days for select categories*), we will refund you 100% of the price difference. Simply bring in your original Best Buy receipt to the customer service counter while that lower price is still in effect. Clearance items, open-box items or Web-exclusive offers advertised on BestBuy.com are not eligible for price matching."
  12. Definetly ok for your run-of-the-mill games. You can upgrade the memory and then share more with the onboard video card as well. For roller coaster tycool, you'll be fine though.
  13. I called around to 4 more BB's. Two said that they won't price match anything on the Thanksgiving day ad, one even said it was written in the ad. One store said that as long as I bring it in during that time (fri-sat) i can get it price matched. The last one only said that "their price matching policy is 30 days" and nothing more. I do believe I'll be buying one of these 22" Westy's tonight and saving it till next week!
  14. I wonder how tough it's going to be to get this thing on Sunday. Everyone says that Nintendo is shipping much more than microsoft and Sony, but I'm still leary. Getting this right away isn't so crucial to me, but I do think I'll try to get it Sunday morning still.
  15. That's blasphemy, you NEED the extra 5" . They won't show stock because they have them reserved for black friday. The 27" is good all day friday and all day saturday, and I bet you'll be able to get them on saturdat still. It's not that great of a deal honestly.
  16. you think you'll get a 1080p set for $480? It's 720p capable, don't know the exact resolution. Built in HD tuner. I'm sure there's already another thread regarding this TV. Or you could look at the TV thread.
  17. They won't hand out tickets for this, just so you know. I'll post up later after I talk to a couple more Best Buy's to see what they say about price matching it.
  18. I HIGHLY doubt it'll be online on BF. I went to one local BB last night and they sais they wouldn't be doing ANY pricematching on anything in the ad. I got this from a manager. I don't like that answer, so I'm going to the other 2 local BB's to ask them. There's a lot of them around me, so I'll find one that says ok. If not, I believe I'm still going to do it, because htey cannot stop me from returning something and rebuying it if I have to.
  19. I know, I've been doing the math. The pc's taht are about $400 have a gig of RAM, which is $50 for the estra 512mb right there. They also have much larger HD's some of which are SATA as well. All of this is what makes both of them such a hard decision. I think I'll go with the cheap one and wait to build a core duo machine once those drop in price.
  20. FYI, PS3 comes out tomorrow, Wii comes out Sunday. My mom's a business member I might have to look into this.
  21. Sweet, I'm glad this is back. I love the google checkout discount. I'll still try to pick up the cheap 1gb card on BF too. You can never have enough storage space.
  22. If you've got Thur night and Fri morning free, camp out at best buy and get the $190 emachines PC. It's perfect for any normal PC user, plus it comes with a 15" LCD monitor and photo printer. No rebates or anything either.
  23. I'm a walmart double agent #1124. Walmart thinks I'm monitoring the site for them, when in actuality, I'm monitoring Walmart for the site. Or I'm a complete liar, the jury's still out.
