Bring mace or something of the sort in line with you
-
I live in MN, where there are no Staples. They have by far the best projector deal on BF, and I was worried I was going to have to settle for a lesser projector for the same $500 price, but now I'm happy that I can get it. The only question now is when can you order them online? I'm seriously grinning from ear to ear,
-
So we can order anything from the regular ad online? If so this will be the best BF ever!
-
"Get wise, Andy Wise" What a douchebag. The news loves to invent controversy, too bad they're misleading people away from this great site.
-
Why not wait until friday and get it for $125AR at Office Depot?
-
I got an email from Ace and the AD is now online. Here's the link: http://www.acehardware.com/hwdays/index.jsp

Does anyone see the Optoma SP4805 projector that's supposed to be $500?
-
I'd rank that toshiba the lowest. They make great RPTV's, but for FP's they have bad bulb life and it seems they get nothing but mediocre-to-bad reviews. So if you decide for some insane reason not to buy the SP4805 (which I'd give my left test.. er, arm for) I'd buy either the Optoma EP716 or the Infocus X1a. The Infocus is a decent projector and has gotten pretty good feedback, whereas the EP716 is completely unknown to me. I think I decided on a strategy though, I'll check the ads and see if the SP4805 is available form staples online. If not, I'm going to go to CompUSA at midnight to get that Optoma EP716, and if I end up not liking that, I'll simply return it and shop for an SP4805 online which will be closer to $700, but still worth it. If you have a staples in your area and you want a projector, you'd better get that SP4805, in fact, get a second for me and I'll pay for shipping.
-
I hope to god that projector is online, then I can but it. I'm really dissapointed because that's by far the best projector for $500 available, but there are no Staples in my state. I'll probably be stuck with the Optoma EP716 at CompUSA, which is still nice, just not as nice.

I highly doubt it, since it's already about 50% off. One question, did office depot say $75 off all camera's over $179? Cause the Canon A520 is $199.99 which would be $124.99 which would be a no-brainer for the best camera deal. I can't remember much from the office depot ad now, my brain has had ad overload for the last few days.

Question About Walmart Price Matching

I went to WalMart on my lunchbreak to see if I could find out what TV they're actually going to have (the 42" plasma). I didn't find out anything about that, but I did get a 2 page flier with some of the BF deals on it. The first page has electronics and the back has toys. They have the $378 laptop, the $178 15" lcd tv, the $98 20" flat tv with dvd, the $68 portable dvd player, a $88 hp digital camera, $48 dvd/vcr combo, $68 dvd recorder, and $48 5-disc stereo. Along with some video games and dvd's for $8 and cd's for $5. I just thought I'd post so you can go to your local walmart and find out how much the laptop will be for sure. ALSO, ON THE BACK IT SAID, AND I QUOTE "WE'LL MATCH ANY COMPETITOR'S AD*" down below, it says "*our stores will match any price of a local competitor's printed advertisement for IDENTICAL products, (does not apply to online purchases at walmart.com). We do not honor manufacturers rebates, percents off, double or triple coupons, or any buy-one-get-one-free offers."

The best cheap digital camcorder del I've seen is the Canon ZR200. It's a very good camera and takes great quality video. I personally have the ZR100 which is the same except it doesn't take digital still photos (which are pretty crappy on video camera's anyways). I saw it somewhere for $250-$275. I'll poke around and edit this when I find it. Looks like it's $250AR at circuit city. Here's a link to the camera: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=116765&WT.mc_n=57&WT.mc_t=U&cm_ven=AFFILIATE%20MARKETING&cm_cat=BEFREE&cm_pla=DATAFEED->PRODUCTS&cm_ite=1%20PRODUCT&cm_keycode=57 I will personally gaurantee this is the best miniDV camcorder deal this BF!

As I previously stated, they won't honor the 10% off coupon because it's a sale item. You get the 10% off coupons by being a rewards zone member and on the back of the coupon is says "not valid with any other offers." In my opinion, for $899 it's still the best HDTV deal out there including all BF ads. I'ver had it since saturday and I still love it if that helps at all
-
not really HD, it says 1024x1024 which is odd. I'm still hard pressed to believe anything that's less than $1k would be better than ED resolution. But, if it is, I'll probably buy that walmart one online.
-
It does not have any type of TV tuner. I'm sure ll of these have RCA, S-video, and probably component and DVI inputs for video, so you can hook them up any of those ways. If you want to watch regular TV, you'd need a cable box that has RCA or one of the other inputs that your projector has out to hook it up. I would definetly get the Infocus SP4805. It is definetly the best out of the 4 available for <$500. The real question is, if you can't get that one, which of the remaining 3 is the best?
-
I'd take that Viore "HD" plasma over that piece of crap maxent at BB any day of the week. I know you work there, so have you even gone and looked at the thing? I thought I wanted it until I went and looked at it. I went to 2 different BB's and they looked like crap at both.
-
Bump for more people's input. I want me a home theater people!
-
I plan to do the following: Wait until Thursday where I will probably find out it's a crappy ED plasma. BUT, if it is in fact an HD plasma for $1k I will order it online with my laptop while I wait in line at BB. I'll be there all night, so I can check every so often to find out when they're available. If BB doesn't have a hot spot, I'll leave my wife in line and go over to Dunn Brothers or somewhere nearby with a hotspot and order it. Remember it's available online as well folks. I really can't get my hopes up because my gut is 98% sure it'll be a crap TV, but you never know.
-
I almost forgot about Monkey Ball. Another great game for all ages! I'd get monkey ball 2 since there are like 15 mini games including racing, tennis, golf, monkey target, boxing, etc, etc
-
I would buy a kodak, I wouln't buy an hp. For the average picture taker the Kodak C360 at BB for $130 is plenty of camera. If ou're not seriously into photography, that will suit you just fine. The Canons don't have any really good deals which stinks cause I'm a canon fan. I'm looking for a camera to replace my broken 4mp canon. I'm not inclined to spend what I did on that camera over 2.5 years ago when 4mp was about as high as there was. This time I'm looking fo something like the kodak Z730 or Z740 with good optical zoom and a decent amount of MP for under $200. I mightgo with a canon 510 or 520, Im still unsure myself.
-
There's onefor $10 at Radio Shack I believe
-
That's a coputer monitor not a TV, just a heads up. FOr monitors I do plan on picking up the MAG 19" LCD at BB for like $170 or whatever.
-
you can get the Z700 today at buydig dot com for $151.
-
I couldn't get them to honor the 10% off coupon because on the back it says "not good with any other offers" or some BS like that. But since I bought mine on Saturday and then went in and PM'd it, I did get a $50 rebate. So don't be surprised if you go to buy it and it's $899 and not $809. Just giving folks a heads up. The TV rocks though and it's still well worth $899.
