  1. I'd be willing to bet the power supply will handle it fine. As for cooling, the X1600 has active, not passive cooling, so I think they'll be fine in that regard as well. Anyone that's upgrading the card is very capable of swapping power supplies in a worst case scenario. And a 160mm fan or two wouldn't be hard to add as well. I'm unsure how these cases are cooled myself. I just don't want to scare people away form upgrading this when in reality, chances are it'll take all those upgrades fine.
  2. I'm curious about this myself. I want to use this in store to avoid shipping charges, but there's not much on that sheet, and it also references no reproductions. If anyone knows, help is appreciated.
  3. Hmmm, get this now, or get the $1000 panasonic plasma at BB??? Hmmmm.... The LCD power use, heat output really makes me like LCD over plasma, but that Panny's got 5" more and a bit better picture, although both are terrific TV's. Hmmmmmmmmmm....... I'll have to consult the wife about this. I think I'm selling my old 32" westinghouse and upgrading.
  4. Kmart and Walgreens are the only ones that stay open Thurs as far as I know.
  5. I haven't seen anyone mention this yet. Last year, and I believe the year before, Best Buy employees were handing our store maps with numbers and a key with all of the hot items on it and their locations. I know people do "recon" on Wed before, but this is even better. I was just curious if this is just a local thing, or if all BBs do this. I always find it very helpful myself.
  6. Might be a repeat? lol, you're pasting this everywhere
  7. It's a perfectly good computer for the average user. I would definitly reccomend getting it.
  8. The online ad posted on BB's site right now lists this as "emachines Computer Package Intel® Celeron® D 352 Processor, 15" LCD Monitor and Canon Color Printer" I hope that HP's support is right though, because the 355 is a tiny bit faster of a processor (3.33GHz compared to 3.2 GHz.
  9. No AGP slots? I have a nice ATI AIW 2006 edition that I was going to throw in there for both better graphics and TV tuning. I'll have to look into this, because that's not the processor they list in the ad. The ad says Celeron D 352.
  10. You can preview the ad online now, and it asks for your zip code. I'm assuming he did this and it said that they weren't doing the doorbusters in his area. I wonder why they do this?
  11. A TV, by definition, has a tuner. This is a monitor since it has no tuner. It can easily be used as a TV if you connect your cable box, sattelite box, or get a tuner card for your PC.
  12. That's a shame. I love a christmas story, natn'l lampoons xmas, the rudolph/frosty movies, everything cept miracle on 34th street.
  13. Technically, they could have a card on thier PC that connects the DSL. Granted most people have an external modem connected to a router, but not all.
  14. No, but people have said before that they've returned pieces of it. I'm not sure if that works, just spreading hearsay.
  15. I've owned a 19" MAG 4:3 LCD for a little over a year now. It's great as a monitor, I don't really watch video on it, but it does only have 8ms response time. Personally, I'd go with Samsung over MAG, but they'll probably be pretty comparable. Why not jsut get the 22" westinghouse? If you're getting that AND another monitor, then I can see why you'd get the Samsung.
  16. Is it wrong that I've never seen Miracle on 34th street and never plan to? I love xmas movies too.
  17. Hey Ross, are you going to be manning the phones on Friday is I was in a jam and needed something? I might have to save this to me cell just in case.

    Gameboy micro

I don't know for fact, but it plays all GBA games, so GBA videos should work fine you'd think.
  19. I hate bundles. I should've got the JCPenny order earlier today. I have faith that I can get one in a prick and mortar shop within a week hopefully.
  20. I also see that Best Buy has a 1Gb SD card for $5 after a $25 mail in rebate in their ad.
  21. I doubt the rebate is good for any version of Monopoly besides classic, but that's still a heck of a deal. Where can I find a toy book for coupons? At the store?
  22. For the folks looking for deals on memory cards, here's a 2gb one Brad posted. This would hold enough game saves for any size family, just don't lose it! http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=56362
  23. They're crazy. All Wii's are made in Japan, hence imported here for use. They make Japanese Wii's in Japan, but they also make US Wii's in Japan. If this was some 3rd rate retailer, I'd be cautious, but JC Penny won't sell you a Japanese version Wii.
  24. 1Gb cards are so cheap I would get those. You can get them on black friday for under $5, or $10 or less online if you wait for a deal. That will definitly be enough for saving game data. It sounds like you can use the card for picture viewing, possibly music or save games on it.
  25. The memory card is a 1Gb SD (Secure Digital) card. You could get larger or smaller as well i assume. They just had them at buy.com for $5 AR. I would wait for a deal on one, or get one on BF.
