Wanted to start a new thread so this didn't get lost with all the cancelled threads. Since my sister was the one who ordered my ripstick I had her do this and she said it was super simple! She emailed them last night and they emailed back saying they will honor the price and to call in the morning. She called and they gave her the 1 ripstick for $20 plus tax and shipping!!! No hassle, no having to talk to a super, nada! They are only honoring 1 per person and it had to have been ordered on the 25th. I am BEYOND excited! This present was to be from a certain fat jolly guy and I am SO glad it will get here!!! So go call and get your orders!!! Thank you Macy's...too bad I had to search to see others were doing it, wish they would have honored them to begin with.

MaCY CANCELING 20.00 RIPSTIK ORDERS!!!
First Lady replied to Damien9104's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I was wondering that too. My sister made the order for me so I can't call and complain about it as I don't know any of her details. I really really wish they would honor this. I don't know what to do about my sons Santa present now, ugh! -
MaCY CANCELING 20.00 RIPSTIK ORDERS!!!
First Lady replied to Damien9104's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
What sucks even more is I was reminded that my son asked for a Ripstick from Santa this year. He thought it would be a great gift from him! I was happy knowing I got one from Macy's for $20! Now I see we are in fact NOT getting them and I don't have any more $$ to purchase one for him This is most likely his last year believeing in Santa and I really had hoped to make his wish come true! Darn you Macy's! I do find it interesting that TRU is honering it's price mess up with the Wii games. TRU is out WAY more money by honoring that deal that Macy's is. Plus Macy's most likely lost many many customers over not honoring this deal and TRU gained/kept many! -

No zhu zhu in my ad either -
We are in trouble this year as well...of course who isn't! We haven't made any more, haven't made any less, but everything has gone up in price. I can not BF shopping this year, which stinks cause my inlaws will be here so they could actually watch the kids for me. We're struggling with keeping our heat and water on and have food on the table. A little more important to have those things. I've been trying to find a job that I can do while my kids are in school and not have to put them in daycare and eat the costs of that, but no luck. I think I started the look too late. My kids are 11 & 9 and they know we do not have much money this year, but it has not stopped them from wanting this and this and this. I am trying my best to make the season more about family (even though it's just us 4) and fun and crafts and such. But I know come Christmas morning they will be sad...but I'll try my best to keep it happy. My 9 yo loves making cookies, so we'll do that on Christmas. We've had good years before, this one is just going to be our worst. We'll get over it and just be thankful for what we do have!!

Anyone have the ad yet? I just heard a commercial on the radio, but can't find it.

The hawkeye only started with xs and sm...perfect for my needs, but would have liked to get a bigger size for when their feet grew.

Glad everyone is loving the deal like I am! I passed it along to the family with a hint about it being good presents for my boys! My 9 year old wears a size 4 in boys in shoes, but wears a size 2 in mens crocs. My 11 yo wears a size 6 in shoes and a size 3 mens in crocs. And the croc measurements are from inside the croc from toe to heal...on the inside! I measured my sons shoes, inside about 9.5 for a size 4 shoe. Croc he wears is a 8.5 and yes they are a bit small. But my other sons crocs are size 3 and 9.5 but they are big on my son, but yet the same size as his shoe. The toe to heal isn't so bad, but it's the width and the top of the croc that has the excess room. I don't know...he likes the smaller size in crocs, so that's what I go with for him.

I saw a commercial on tv with Tony Hawk playing it the other day and honestly it looked very boring.

Waiting to find a deal on it as well. I have to imagine it's good since it's Mario, they wouldn't make a bad one!

Santa brings 1-2 presents per person, usually it's just 1 though. One year it was a video game and a guide book, hence the 2 gifts. He also does the stockings. The rest of the presents come from mom and dad and any relatives.

Got my book today in the mail, coupon was $10 off $100. Kids have an early out, they are devouring the book, talking nonstop as to what they NEED out of the book!

Dick's Sporting Goods additional 75% off clearance
First Lady replied to txsupermom's topic in Offline Hot Deals
My Dick's is so random about their clearance. I'll go in one day and they'll have clearance racks up front with a sign saying extra 50% off those racks only. The other clearance is marked price. Last year around Christmas time, the manager came on saying all the table games were an additional $$ off and anyone was welcome to talk to him about further discounts, he wanted the older stuff out of the store to make way for new items. I love going into that store...my bank account does not! -
My kids know they don't get the junk toy or games, we have no probs ordering the books though. I love how I can get them so much cheaper than the book store, plus I can help my kids teachers get stuff for the classroom. I don't boycott the whole Scholastic company, just boycott buying the nonsense items.

0.72 cents swim suit coverup, as seen in Seventeen magazine
First Lady replied to iloveblkfriday's topic in Online Hot Deals
All sizes are back in stock. Not something I'd normally wear (color wise), but it'll be nice for around the house. -
I wasn't able to make it to the Target toy clearance (so bummed) and our Walmart does not have any of the pets marked down, just the plush which I'm not interested in. No Ross here. I've been checking ebay and craigslist daily. Will search Amazon too!

Looking to find some of the pets and playsets for a b-day in a couple weeks. Anyone know anywhere they might be on sale or where I can find a good deal???

Wal-Mart return question Wii
First Lady replied to brandy_drake's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I found that with a lot of things this year...my camera had it, the kids ATM's had it, the Rockband2 had the yellow paper, can't remember what else, but yeah, weird!
