First Lady

My area (Iowa) was one of those "test markets" where they did not have any of the doorbusters going on. We got the $15 GC with $100 purchase. Well, I"m standing in line at another store and this lady pulls out a ticket for the emachines desktop and says how she got it, but doesn't want it, so I offered to take it off her hands! She gives it to me and says I just have to be back by noon. It was $189.99, not the $149.99, but still, WOW! I was happy! I went to pick it up...took me just under 2 hours in line, UGG! I wish I could have remembered the other things that were dorr busters to see if they were cheap as well. But not going back now to wait in the long line again! Oh and they had the laptop too, but I guess only got in around 10 or so of them and they were way gone. Sure suprised me since nothing was advertised, you had to ask about it.

Darn it, no doorbusters here in Iowa All BB in the area are out of luck:( The dvd's are $5.99, no computer or anything So dissapointing! Well, I can cross them off my list now!

I showed up at 7:30 to mine and the parking lot was full. I was able to get in (without a cart to run into people) and get the 4 gba games I wanted (2 Dora, Chicken and Crash) and the Now 20 cd. They had plenty of the GBA games, but the cd's were almost out of stock. But I did hear the one guy say they had more in back they needed to go get, but they were so busy they couldn't yet. I was able to pay in the electronics dept and was out in 10 minutes!

I find it funny how so many Kmarts closed down. My MIL in NY doesn't have one for over 50 miles away! But we have 2 in our town, less than 15 miles apart from each other! I'm hoping to be able to stop at just one to get the GBA games I want.

My first stop is Menards! Nothing too major, but lots of fun stuff! Problem is this is a new Menards and I have no idea where anythign will be this year! I hope I'm close enough to the front of the line to overhear where things are. Past few years an employee came out shortly before opening and mentioned the spots for a few things.

www.geocaching.com is the main site for caching. And this gps will be a perfect gps for that!

We have flannel snowman sheets that we use...all year though. If I found some really really cheap I'd buy a set for our beds to be more festive. But otherwise I think regular Christmas decorations are enough.

Darn no Meijer here And no relatives that live near one either.

I thought I saw somewhere that there was a bundle deal on the PSP, but searching through the ads again, I can't find anything. What I crazy thinking I saw something, or did I miss it? Or if nothing on BF, any bundle deals with games or anything going on now? Thanks!

This is a really nice basic starter GPS! It kinda depends on what he wants to use it for whether this is the one for him. If he'll be using it for goecaching, it will be perfect. If he wants to download more specific maps, can't do with this kind. You can check out the Garmin website to see all what it can do.
