Jakks EyeClops Bionic Eye...where on sale?
First Lady replied to First Lady's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
No, I'm looking for the thing that magnifies stuff. Like here... http://www.amazon.com/Jakks-Pacific-60726-EyeClops-Bionic/dp/B000PGRBGA/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1227321981&sr=8-1 I'm not finding it when I search the BF ads, so maybe I just dreamed it up on sale -
They have an ad, but if you line up at 6am, you're late! Lines at mine started at 4:45 last year! I was there at 5:15 and was about 50th. But you still get trampled! Menards is THE worst with crowd control and line jumpers! Every year I hope and pray they put out tape to stop line jumpers, but so far not luck, you just have to hope everyone in front of you is mean doesn't let them in. And yeah, is this going to be THE last ad to be leaked?? I know I'm not waiting on any other ads, even WM is out, geez Menards, let us know!!!

DH's company used to give them a turkey, but then about 5 years ago they switched it to nothing! They do have a holiday party, but it's pretty crappy (ghey prizes) and this year DH is on call so we can't go (not like it's worth while, except to see the head regional district guy wasted trying to give a crappy speech...wish I had a video of that year!) and DH is also on call for Christmas. Yes we are happy he has a job and not in any positions to be laid off unless he screws up, but still the company bends you over backwards and they give no thanks.

FOUND, thanks!! Littlest Pet Shop scrapbook kit?
First Lady replied to First Lady's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Oh cool! I tried looking there online and all they showed was the diary. I'll head out today to check it out. Thanks! -
Update: Went to my local WM and searched high and low in the toy isle and surrounding sections. No luck, darn it! But then up front there was a section of Christmas stuff so I decided to browse, not really looking for the LPS. But one row had a bunch of crafty kits and there was the LPS scrapbook kit!! YEAH!! And it was only $14.88, not $32+ like the online sites wanted. I also bought a $5 gift card for her to develop the film camera. They had a digital Crayola scrapbook kit the camera guy tried to sell me on, but the girl was specific on the LPS one, so I stayed with that, even though she'd only get 12 pics out of the camera. Thanks for your help in finding this!! I was given a child to buy for from our school's adopt a family. This girl wants a LPS scrapbook kit, but I can't seem to be finding it. I have found it on ebay but was hoping to find it local. Anyone seen it in any stores?? She only has a couple things and my son loves to scrapbook and wants to get this for her, hoping we can find it! Thanks!!

My kids (8 & 10) have the DS due to the fact there are more kid friendly games. My kids love to play Mario, Pokemon, Hot Wheels and other kid games. They like the sports and racing ones too, but those seem to play better on the PS2 or other big system.

Avon.com Stocking Stuffer 12-piece bundle $10.00 + Free S&H

Thank you, I have 4 nieces so this will be a perfect addition to their gifts! -
Growing up Santa only brought 1 gift each, the rest were form mom and dad. It was easier to explain to us that mom and dad did not have alot of money to bring lots of gifts, than explain Santa didn't have the money. We could see in our daily lives that money was short, especially when my dad was laid off and then we had some major medical problems with half our family. I have continued the same in our house. Santa brings 1 (maybe 2) presents and the rest are from mom and dad. I've never heard from kids that other kids get more presents from Santa then they do.

My son's b-day is Dec 31, New Years Eve. I thought it would be nice to be able to get the after Christmas deals, but it's so hetic, that I usually end up buying most of his gifts before Christmas. But then I have to figure out what is for Christmas and what is for birthday. B-day gifts are always wrapped in b-day paper, except for one year my son was into some action figures and the only paper I could find had them and snowflakes. Not completely Christmas, but not b-day, so I used it. He was younger and didn't mind, was too excited to see the figures on the paper. My nieces b-day is at the beginning of December and DH's is at the end of November.

If he wants it for his bike, don't go with a smaller ramp. We bought the exact same ramp a couple years ago at TRU for $70 on sale around Christmas time. Another option would be going with just the one side of the ramp. It is fun to jump off up, but not as fun as the full ramps with the tabletop in between. The full ramp is VERY sturdy! It can handle my 2 boys and DH and it's been a few years. The half ramp is also awesome, we bought that one first before we knew they had the full set up.

Costco Canon XSi Question...
First Lady replied to woods5986's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I would go with the more expensive one as well! You'll love the IS on the longer zoom! And with the more expensive package, there are no gaps in the zoom, which is nice! -
I saw them at Target for $34.99 for a 3 set, so works out to $11 and change per dvd, not too bad. I'm hoping they'll be cheaper closer to the holidays. My boys are wanting them.

anyone get one of those reward zone member invites for this Sunday ??
First Lady replied to sdigman6's topic in 2008
Like the others have said, return them!! Heck I think Walmart sells them much cheaper. The cables are the way BB makes money! I had a friend work there and (like other posters said) their markup is HUGE!! Buy them online for every cheaper! My DH works for the cable company and we got the cheapy cables online (don't remember the sites but I can check with him) and they are just fine! He tells everyone not to buy them from BB, not any better. -
Walmart PS3 deal ($399 + 100 Walmart GC) online
First Lady replied to neile457's topic in Online Hot Deals
I just ordered the PSP deal online and they send the gift card right away through email. Sweet, So glad I didn't have to stand inline! Dh didn't want the whole bundle, but that's the only way to get the new PSP and I figure with the GC it brings it down to just the PSP price and we can try to sell the game and dvd. -

If you click "buy online" it is coming up at the sale price already and the PINK one is included! My 2 boys and DH have a razor and they keep saying mommy needs a pink one. Hum...maybe a run to TRU is order tomorrow for me! Oh these are WELL worth the $20!! My kids (and DH) are torturous with these scooters and they (the scooters) survive!! We've had then for 3 years now and still holding up strong!

What the heck? My 3 closest stores do not have it int stock and it's not letting me chose the option to ship it Not cool at all, my son would love this game. I was eyeing it last year but it was $49.99 then. AH, and none of the places where my relatives live have it in stock either. -

First Lady replied to steph3306's topic in Online Hot Deals
We watched this last year on TV, it was cute definitely! But not cute enough to buy the movie. Too bad our DVR died and we had to get a new box, so it's not saved anymore. I wonder if since it's on DVD now if it won't be on TV this year -
Mine was not in my paper either. And I too seem to recall getting it in the mail. They also had the coupons in a separate flyer in the store.
