  1. I think 5 is kind of young for a computer, but that's up to you. You know how advanced your child is. I found a green one for $269, but was wondering if it ever goes down to $249. The $269 came down to $230, but trying to find the best deal.
  2. did you get a black one, or were you able to get a color for that price?
  3. I want to cut down this year, but this is the earliest I have started. Got my DD7 2 toys already, that were great deals (you know, I couldn't pass em up), got both of my DDs today a Wii game for under $7 thru Amazon (HSM3), and just got my wife a new 8gb zune ($60). Somebody stop me already!
  4. just ordered for the Wii, from looking at the demo video, it doesn't look like it. At least, I hope it doesn't.
  5. I think you will be able to get a 19" for $99, and a 32" for $249, with a 42" for $399 (they are not far from there right now.
  6. If it has 2gb ddr2 memory, you would need to buy 2 x 2gb ddr2 ram chips. The computer will optimally run with 2 chips together, not one by itself.
  7. according to this seller on Craigslist, it does. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/sys/1319645765.html
  8. I would argue with the following points with Walmart: They don't sell the DS anymore, only the Lite and DSI The original DS didn't come in the colors advertised. Don't you love how employees try to find a way out of their policy, even though it effects them in no way.
  9. Ipod Touch or Zune HD. Garmin Nuvi 885T - top rated in Consumer Reports. (or really, any GPS)
  10. I'm thinking of getting the Zune HD for myself :) not sure about anything else.
  11. after you log in, or create an account, it asks has a box on the right side under the total price including shipping and taxes for it. $100.02 total for me, just not sure whether to get it or not. My DD7 spilt water on her current one, and the speaker doesn't work. The headphone jack still works, I think that I won't, even though this is a great price.
  12. Here it is for $225 from Dell.com http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Games/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A0764619
  13. I like to go alone, it's just so much faster - get what I want and get out.
  14. no, they are all over the place. Also, I am seeing deals on them with extra stuff free.
  15. ram to upgrade my wife's laptop Hard drive to upgrade my wife's laptop cheap netbook for my DD8 DSi for DD7 to replace her broken DS I'd like a Samsung Bluray player that can download off netflix.
  16. why didn't they just give you another laptop that was the same? Were they out of stock? They couldn't order it for you? What about the manufacturer warranty?
  17. I think if anything, the deals will be better online, though, I don't think BB will be as cheap, and it is the only electronics retailer here in New Orleans. If I purchase any electronics this year, which I'm not planning, will be online, unless Walmart has some great, gotta have deal.
  18. Significantly less. Kids always get to much stuff, and we don't need much, or have as much money, either.
  19. I got a Roomba for my wife LY from Target, and we LOVE it, though I think I need a new battery for it already, because we have used it so much.
  20. I think you will see a 32" for $249, 37" for $329, 42" for $399
  21. Ray, YOU r the man. LMFAO
  22. It was a Memorial Day special, Sunday and Monday only.

  24. you could use the card for a camera, camcorder, mp3, or phone (if they can use that size card), or even a computer if it has a card reader to transfer / hold data. For example, my digital camera uses a sd card, so I can take it out of the camera, and put it into the card reader on the acer, and transfer the pics to my netbook - no need to connect the camera. But, don't waste your time buying another card if all your gadgets have a card already, unless you want to buy a larger card.
  25. I don't agree with the external HD idea. I have a 120gb hd on mine, and I do work related stuff (MS Office), and have a ton of pics and songs on it, and I still have over 80 gb of HD space available. The only knock I have against it is the speakers, they suck for listening to music. I have an external bar speaker on my desk that I connect to listen to music. But other than that, I do everything my other laptops on it. It will work fine. The only one's I would avoid are the ones with the SSD, as those hard drives are way too small. Good luck!
