Yeah, I'm hesitant just in case there is a billing error. I have Sprint, and I have to call every month to get my bill straight, so I don't do this with any company.

I have read about plasmas (before I bought one), and plasmas having a shorter life span is a myth. The only main disadvantage to a plasma is the weight.

I have a Gateway desktop at my house, it was orignally my computer, now it's my girls. But I've had it 5-6 years with no issues.

I bought mine on ebay, 20 ft for $20, 12 ft for $15. Had em a year with no problems, way cheaper than even Walmart.

I've bought several electronic items refurbished (Toshiba laptop, Sony car stereo, HP Ipaq, and a couple other items), and those are the best deals out there. Covered under factory warranty, just like new, and cheaper!

My order from OfficeMax is still saying pending, but when I called two different times, I was assured that it was shipping out this week. One said as early as today, the other said by Thursday. Both said I should have it by the end of the week. I hope that they don't cancel it, I will have to find one if they do.

I went to my wal-mart last night, and they had about 25 Dell 1501's and about 75 Toshibas sitting on a cart, and was told the price was $598. I'm assuming those were the $398 laptops from earlier in the day. The Toshiba had 2 GB Ram and 120 GB HD, not bad at all, even for $598.

they don't have the doorbuster specials, but last year I was able to find several tvs and other items (portable dvd player comes to mind), in the week after BF at my local WalMarts. It was crazy how much stuff they had left, and it was still the BF doorbuster price. Good luck. (This goes to show how much the deals sucked there last year)

My old lexmark 5150 could not be installed on my wife's new laptop running vista, we just had to buy a new printer. I could download the driver, but the scanner would not work (there was no updated driver for it, according to lexmark). So make sure it is compatible with your OS.

the Mustek from Compusa is one that I have. I actually bought it in April for the same price, but have had no problems with it

just got a Garmin c330 for my wife for Mother's day. $249 plus tax, great price. I have a Garmin c550 right now and love it. For the price, nothing's better. Look at cnet.com for gps reviews. The other one that I considered for the price, was the TOMTOM ONE, most places have it for $299.

Just my opinion, but you can find deals every weekend. Just keep looking until something catches your eye. I bought my 50 inch Toshiba for $1699 one week at BB, the next 2 weeks it was $2499 , then it went down to $1599, which I pricematched, and I haven't seen it for less than $2000 for the last couple of weeks. Just be patient, and get what you want, don't settle. Also, buy the biggest you can afford. I was planning on getting a 42", but my wife told me to get the 50 inch ($400 more). At first I thought it was too big, but now it seems just right! Good luck!
