Office Depot has a Compaq for $409 minus $30 rebate. It only has 2 gb ram, though. I have had my doubts about compaqs before, but it has good reviews on the site. no player comes with a cable - try online (ebay, etc). I have gotten 3 cables on ebay and never paid over $10 (and one cable is 12 ft) I just bought a sony bluray, and my tv is only 720, and don't have a problem. I don't think it matters. I think you could even hook it up without hdmi to a regular tv and it would work.

I just looked on Walmart.com, and 4 of the nearest 5 had them in stock, and 14 of 18. To look, just look up Wii hardware on Walmart.com, and then select one of the bundles. Scroll down to where it lists the parts of the bundle, and under the Wii console it say "check in store" and that will tell you if the Walmart has it.

I went ahead and ordered the princess dvd game, though it was $5.99 for shipping - overall $12.48 total (they charged $1.00 for tax, I'm assuming I paid tax on shipping?). Still a good deal, I think, and my girls will love it, I hope.

Yeah, I agree. You probably won't see the PS3 or the Wii on sale for Black Friday.

I'm seeing them all of the place here. The Walmart by where I work has them all the time. Also, the mall by where I live today had them in the toy store and Babbages.

they have the shuffle pictured, which comes in sizes no larger than 2gb, so this makes no sense. Plus, it says it just clips on, which no ipod does this. The Sansa Clip does, and it does come in 4gb, my dad just got one for $59, so maybe it's that (but I doubt it).

The gps is better than my Garmin C550, because the maps are more up to date. But having my c550 is more convenient (plus has a larger screen) than my phone. Plus, my phone is mainly used for phone calls. I think the maps have more to deal with how up to date your software is (mine is 2-3 years old), I would guess this would be good (even if it is 1 year out of date, in most cases). I just can't see paying Garmin $100 to update the maps, when I can buy a nice new GPS for about the same price.

more than likely, there will be a lot of support for the current ds lite, and games for a good while. Plus this thing looks like it will cost close to $200, putting it in line with the handheld playstation.

I just went to an OD 50 miles from me, while I was at our office, and they had the camera (8 to be exact), but they showed $169 as the price, and told me there was no rebate. Glad I got one here locally.

if you buy the display, I would ask for more of a discount (30% off)?

I have an iriver clix, and love it. My daughters have sansa clips and they love them. I personally don't think the ipods are worth the extra price. Also, I don't use the Apple store. Also, downloading the music is very easy using these mp3 players, I just drag the songs.

Yeah that's nice, the 1gb ram is ok with xp. Just a small laptop, though. I have seen a couple laptops with 15" screens or bigger with 2gb ram and dvd burners for under $400 recently, so I wouldn't get this one. Of course those came with vista, which I like. It just took a little getting use too, but it is so much better than xp in my opinion.

yeah, I have the model that this replaced, and it has been great. In fact, I still have it and use it sometimes, even though it is kind of bulky. So a warning would be that this is not a compact camera. But the 12x optical zoom is great, and something that you don't find on a lot of cameras.

got the 2 dvds today. The certificates are in the dvd cases, only 1 disappointing thing. The certificates are good for 1 ticket each, not to exceed $7.50, and good to see the following movies: The Incredible Hulk Wanted Hellboy II The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon I guess I could see The Mummy, or Wanted, but none of the movies really interest me Still not bad, under $50 for each camera, including a 1 gb SD card from NewEgg.com (MicroSD with Adapter)

I received my 2 cameras (for my DD (6 & 7) yesterday, but have not received my 2 movies. I think the vouchers come with the movies.
