I cruised through their "sale" the other day. I love diamonds and jewelry, but that was ridiculous. They had certified diamond earring "on sale" for the same price as a reliable jeweler would have regularly priced.

Does it matter where they come from? I got an excellent deal through Kohls 3 weeks ago, but the price dropped a week after I ordered and they let me have that price. So, I would say watch Kohls online daily deals and some of the department stores. I bought larger hoops and the diamonds aren't big enough for the quality or clarity to matter too much. I have a 6 yr old boy and an 8 yr old old boy. I'm trying to decide which I should get them for x-mas. I am worried that they will grow out of the playset before they grow out of the trampoline. My oldest spends all afternoon at our friends house on the trampoline and my youngest loves her sandbox. Also, we're military so I know at some point in the next few years we'll move and leave it behind. What game is he playing? Hubby and a couple friends game on a Dells right now and who knows they may have another sale before xmas. The Studio 15 would be a nice, semi affordable option. Alot of people also like Tigerdirect for customizing a gaming laptop. However, I would maybe ask for some help from the techies in the computer, technology section of our boards here. They are the best and I know some of them game.

How about finding an artisan in FL where you are going and buy a great piece of art? I bought my parents a tiki this year. I live in FL and I'm trying to convince them all to move here so I'm doing FL themed gifts. I bought the tiki from a great local artisan and I know they'll love it. I'm sure you could find a glass blower, wood carver or sculptor local to where you're going. Oh, and beach family pictures are great and not at all inexpensive. lol GL

I love amazing grace shampoo. My hair is normal to oily and it makes my hair smell so good. I buy the Amazing grace todays best value sets on QVC. It's the only thing I've ever bought from QVC. I also love cinnamon buns and the whole basic skin care sets. Anyways, I don't ever buy from Philosophy website since QVC or Sephora is always a better deal.

I saw the new tv ad this week for them. It didn't talk about Black Friday really, but it said they were expanding the number of animals at $10 (4 bears, a koala and a puppy) That's nice since my kids never wanted the plain bear and you end up not being able to afford the goodies to go with it. Btw are they not doing Rudolph this year?

Have a Christmas party where all the guests bring a Christmas Decoration they don't use anymore. Show old Christmas movies, serve inexpensive foods and have fun. Otherwise, I would try to spend the majority of your money this year on getting a great tree and decorations for it. Then next year get all the little things. All those little things add up to alot.

A magazine subscription to her favorite magazine maybe. I know you can get them really inexpensively, but I'm not sure how. Maybe search the boards?

Shoot the east coast can black friday shop B&M and still see the first of the deals on the site. The deals don't start until 9 EST. Well, at least I'm a quick shopper on BF since I know where I"m going and getting usually so I'll see them. It would be cool if they would txt the lightning deals that day.

I got the silver one and the brown with fur one for my boys....they had already picked them out in store last week. I think they are ugly, but oh well.

Any retro style clothing that you can vamp up with clothing or hair? I'm fond of 40's/50's clothing and often dress up for fun like a retro pinup from that era.
