  1. Hmm, I would say under $100, but that was over 5 yrs ago. lol It is a Brother brand. I'm still a bit of a beginner so I don't know if that is a good brand or not. It was refurbished so I bet you could also now find them online. Anyways, I hope someone else can lead you in more of a direction of brands and what to look for.
  2. I got mine at a local sewing machine repair shop. If you don't mind a used one that's a great place to look for a deal.
  3. Those are cool and if my boys were younger we would definitly have one. Have ya'll seen Pleo? I don't think he's sold in most stores, but they are "wow" cool. Kind of expensive though. hehe http://ugobestore.ugobe.com/ Check out the videos if you can.
  4. lol I have a boxer that I have to put a towel over her head when I do her nails. I would like to try out the pedi paws on her though. I think it's the noise that would make them anxious around it.
  5. 1st pet peeve is the people that come up 5 min before the door opens and have endless questions/compliments/hit on you in an attempt to rush the door. Second, the people who actually fall for it and chat this newcomer in the door with them. I also don't care for early morning sales with children. It's not the babies that get me it's the older kids who haven't been fed/pottied/aren't well/etc. with a parent that doesn't care to take care of these needs. I personally don't bring mine since they slow me down and I get easily flustered. As long as the parent is prepared I'm fine.
  6. We use them to "wrap" presents at x-mas time. I have all red and green ones. hehe
  7. Are they like the Disney Show Pix that are little digital picture viewers? http://disneyshopping.go.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/DSIProductDisplay?catalogId=10003&storeId=10052&productId=1206957&langId=-1&categoryId=15012
  8. I agree, they tasted similar to chik-fil-a chicken. Maybe that is who they are competing with. I like the breakfast sandwich, but I think they cost too much without coupon.
  9. Same problem here at Mary Esther, FL store. It's a drive for me so a heads up is good. Today when I went everything was full price.
  10. They made a huge deal with the county here and just pulled out this month. They were supposed to start building this summer. I was actually looking forward to having some jobs that weren't a 45 min drive away. Of course why shouldn't they be suffering when the building industry is slow.
  11. I had this throw for awhile and it sheds like crazy fine red lint. We found it in a neat line outlining behind our couches when we moved them and all in the air filter for over a mth before I just threw it out. Just an fyi for the other neat freaks. :)
  12. I bought this today and it's now down to .99 and free shipping when using google checkout. My last one didn't last long, but it's worth .99.
  13. Nope, just a door left open by Starbucks. http://leisureblogs.chicagotribune.com/thestew/2008/02/local-dunkin-do.html
  14. There are several more inexpensive tops and bottoms. Just search sale, swimsuit, size and bikini.
  15. I have alltel and bought a pay as you go deal they had for 19.99. It was a good Motorola phone and 100 mins. Then I asked them to change the new phone to my number and my old phone to the new pay as you go deal. I had to replace mine because my old one quit working so it was a great option.
  16. Did you call Toys R Us? I have had such good customer service this year from them. They even have good hours on their customer service 800 #. It can't hurt.
  17. Funny since one of my worst was after I had my first son and I got a pair of size 8 jeans. I was so upset that my Aunt would think those would fit (always been much smaller). Lo and behold, they did fit! Luckily I was in another state for that gift since I can only imagine what my awful reaction would have done to her. I did wear those jeans until I lost the weight though. So, it was actually a good gift utility wise.
  18. Hmm, I know I stayed home all weekend. I bought 2 pairs of jeans from Old Navy online Friday morning since it was cheaper to have them shipped then to drive there. I am hoping for some more random sales to hit up for my fill in gifts. Either way I'm definitly spending less this year in general. I didn't feel as motivated by what I saw in the ads to go out. Oh, and the one "must have" for me was the Wii. I bought that over a mth ago thanks to what people were projecting here on the forums about supply.
  19. I was looking for this also. This thread says 4/10 antibacterial Sat. and Sunday after Thanksgiving. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=88917
  20. I guess I was one of the ones that didn't know this. Of course I don't feel like I've really missed out because I didn't know. Yesterday, I bought a shirt for 1.74 and a skort I was waiting on for 6.98 and I'm still happy. lol
  21. Noticed there were Pink Ipod Shuffles that were packaged special for Breast Cancer Awareness. They contained the pink ipod, a $15 I-tunes card and the promise that a percentage of the purchase price goes to the Komen Foundation. These were priced at the same price as the regular Ipods. I didn't see them online though. Just a good option for someone buying a pink one anyway.
  22. Here in FL they are completly sold out of the summer stuff and have been for a mth. I missed all the clearanced shorts.
  23. Thanks I never got mine this year because of a move.
  24. I used to sell these products and I fill the top of my warmer with water and then put 10 drops of oil in it. My burner seems to run hot so it burns through the oil too fast and this way I can leave it going longer.
  25. Where do you get this and can you use this on anything? I mostly have a problem with my puppy chewing my childrens toys.
