Oooh, which of the Lego SW Sets were clearanced?

I'd say that $8.50 for full size webkinz is a good price. I think anything under $10 is pretty good if it's one they want. Once you have the doll, you don't need to pay for anything else for a year. Then, if they still care, you can get another toy. They can "earn" points on the site to buy virtual things, but they do that by paying games, etc. My two are 7 and 10 and they love the darn things and have kept up with them ever since they came out. As a mom, I think it's a pretty cute way for them to have internet fun in a safe environment.

As long as I have the reciept or if it was on a different credit card I've never had a problem getting the 50% off back at any of my Targets. Obviously, it a ymmv thing.

Finally! I was hoping it would come out for the Wii. :)

The 2nd one (char-broil with the tank) was highly rated by consumer reports in the "no-frills but good performance" department.

I found them in both places.

I went out again and found more Pokemon cards, but this store wouldn't mark them down. 2 other stores marked them down when I pointed out the obvious easter egg background and the fact that they say easter when you scan them. Good luck!

What Wii games have you all found on clearance? So far, I've picked up Elebits, Marble Madness, Golden Compass, & My Word Coach for 75% off. I saw Tony Hawk, too, but didn't buy that one. Have I missed any?

My return people don't care if it's seasonal as long as you have the receipt. I haven't tried the no receipt route, so I'm not sure what the latest policy is. I always try to set a price point I'm willing to wait for. Some things are worth buying 50% off and some things aren't. Heck, some things are a great deal for full price! In my experience, there will be some candy and valentine boxed cards left at 75% off. The decor and things tend to go earlier, but some things do linger. It's what makes this Target things exciting - you never know what you're going to find!

It really depends on your store! There is one near me that is cleared out quickly at 50% and another that has loads for 75% off. If there is something you really have to get, then don't wait. Keep your receipts handy and check back when they go down again. Our Targets are really good about the clearance swap (buy it at 50%, buy it again at 75% and return it with the 50% off receipt) even on holiday merchandise. I've never had a problem anyway!

The shutterfly gift cards were with the rest of the boxes, but they are standard gift cards. No box - just like itunes, etc.

FYI - they have small plastic "envelopes" in the dollar section that are perfect for putting your Target receipts in! I have one I keep in my purse and it really helps with returns.

I ended up activating one of my shutterfly gift cards (I found $50 gift cards for $25 here - never went to 75% anywhere near me) and it worked fine. Came up as $50 credit on my account. Whew!

Question for you Target pros - I've never been able to figure out if things need to be scanned by the clearance team to be marked down or if there's some sort of system wide update. If there's only one left in the store and it's misplaced, will it go down if it was meant to or does it need a shot from the scanner?

Did anyone else notice the Shutterfly stuff disappear off the shelves today? My Target had TONS left yeaterday, so I figured I'd wait until 75% off. Today - all gone in every store. A gal working at one hold me they salvaged them instead of going 75% off.

If you don't mind orange (you could cover them), I've seen these at Sams Club for $20. Of course, you have to be near a Sams Club and have access to a membership and.....

I'd buy it. They tend to salvage toys instead of marking them down more. I'd hate to wait only to find it's been dropped from the system. IMO, paying the extra $5 would be worth not fighting them over an "item not found".....
