    Elf on the Shelf

I saw a cute set at Barnes and Noble today. Didn't look at the price tho....
  2. I actually have a "story" this year! It's also the first year I didn't get up early, but rolled out of bed around 7:30.... Anyway, I got 99% of everything online (thanks Amazon!!), but still needed the Wizard of Oz blu-ray from Target. I got there around 8:30am, picked up the last one and proceeded to the check out. On the way out, I stopped by the pharmacy to say Happy Thanksgiving and they offered to ring me up. After I paid, the gal there had to go to electronics to get the security cover off the disc. I waited for her to come back for 15 minutes or so then went looking for her. It turns out they had a hard time opening the box so while they were looking for another opener, they set the disc down on the counter. Of course, some customer swiped it right out for under their noses. MY already paid for, last one in the store blu-ray! They were very apologetic and gave me a rain check for the BF price, a $10 credit (literally handed me a $10 bill) and refunded my money. It was the most excitement I've had in a long time and I'm coming out $10 ahead :)
  3. The only Blu-Ray I want that they haven't discounted (yet) is the Wizard of Oz that's $12.99 at Target. No need to even attempt Best Buy!
  4. Monsters vs Aliens blu-ray sold out
  5. I agree. Used once then donated.
  6. I got the same in both too and nothing exciting. I split them up into teacher/secretary gifts.
  7. Good to know! Thanks.
  8. Wizard of Oz, Batman and "selected other" Blu-Rays - $12.99 each at Target "selected other" Blu-Rays - $8.99 each at Target Matrix, Gladiator Wanted Blu-Rays - $12.99 each at Best Buy Xmen Wolverine and Monsters vs Aliens Blu-Rays - $9.99 each at Best Buy I'm calling it about $200 in Blu-Rays (scary because I might just end up with that many depending on those mysterious "others") My wish list item since I have $300 more is: 32GB Ipod Touch - $295 at Target. That's $495 for me.
  9. I get mine in the paper on Thanksgiving morning.
  10. This is actually the first year I'm thinking about going to Best Buy. However, it's only because I'm down to just needing Blu-Ray's and they have 2 as doorbusters which Target won't PM. I'm still hoping to find as good or better deals online, but I may be there this year.
  11. Hadn't seen these posted - ### 008-09-0593 Magnavox 19inch HDTV with DVD 60% off $110.64 ### 204-00-0148 Lego Spongebob 50% off $19.99 ### 08-008-0700 HP external DVD writer 75% off $21.24 Can't believe I bought things for less than 75% off but I knew I'd miss them otherwise! Plus, with the 2 Pixar Blu-Ray's for $11, I had a great day!
  12. My MIL is a serial re-gifter. She almost always gives me something that I gave her in years past. This year she's getting the kids in on it - she gave my DD9 a Hallmark Collectible for her bday. One I had given her a few years ago. The worst one from her was a fishing lure, complete with hook, for my DD12, who was then 9 and certainly does not fish. She was cleaning out her garage that year!
  13. The site is SLOW and having issues, but I finally got my order thru. Only one thing sold out before I got to the final checkout process, so I'll have to be happy with that! Thanks!
  14. Thanks for the advice. I ended up getting the Eee PC at 50% off. Didn't want to take a chance of it disappearing! Here's the info: ### 080 11 0284 Asus Eee PC 50% off $164.98
  15. I found an EeePC Netbook for 50% off - $164 (no number, sorry). I am tempted to grab it, but also curious to find out if it's going to hit 75%. Have any of you seen one too or have any thoughts??
  16. Still 30-50% in the OC, as well.
  17. Since the ad has Easter 50% off does that mean it won't go to 75% until Sunday or later??
  18. 75 off most, still 50 on electronic toys at Alicia Pky in OC.
  19. No toy changes in South-ish OC today. Heading back tomorrow. I did see a nice baby swing for 75% off at the Foothill Ranch store. Didn't get any info on it, but there were a couple sitting on the regular shelf area. Foothill Ranch is also the only store around doing the extra 30% on clothes.
  20. Same here! I'd never seen this before. We figured it came to around an 83% discount.
  21. For anyone in the OC, the Target at the District has a bunch of Christmas CD's on the electronics clearance end cap. They rang up INF, but the gal at the register gave me 90% off with no problems. I know they have Disney's Fairy Tale Holiday and the Tween Disney Holiday CD's. I didn't catch the names of any others, but there were 3 or 4 other titles there as well.
  22. The diet version has been gone around here for ages. I haven't checked CVS though!
  23. I'm jealous! I did ask, but nobody was budging.
