We had a Target open just a few months back (and have another opening in a couple of months!) and they are in an entirely different world than the other stores around. Things that were on clearance in January are just now starting to get marked down there. They may "catch up" eventually, but I kinda like the offset so I can catch things I missed earlier. It is a beautiful store, too - nice wide isles, clean and bright!

My Target had Algebra for the FLYpen today - $17.48, #204-04-0917

Had some fun today. My 10% off was expiring, so I had to use it right?!? :) Anyway, a couple things I thought might be of interest to you guys were The Blue Man Group Keyboard - was $49, now $12.48 (087-02-0999), the pet vac down to $7.48 (083-05-2828), and Burts Bees sets 75% off (we had 3 cosmetic endcaps packed full of 75% off stuff).

I usually find good deals in the clearance sections at Target and Walmart. Also, the PJ Pals are on clearance at disneystore.com - there's an extra 20% off and free shipping over $80 today.

I just checked my store finder - 11 Targets within 10 miles and a new one being built!! Goes to show how much money we are spending there! :)

The gal at the checkout couldn't stop talking about "the guy with five carts full", so I guess he bought everything.

Aside from the Vday stuff, I also found the PS2 Eye Toy with "Play 2" game for $12.xx #207-12-1478, in case anyone is still looking. The MixMax deals were still only 30% off, but they had lots of them and accessories. They had a "pet vacuum" at 30% off for $20.xx. I have a very "sheddy" dog - does anyone know if those work??

Had an interesting experience today. Went to an off-the-beaten-path Target and they had a huge amount of V-day stuff at 90% off. As I was happily picking my way through all the goodies, a guy with 2 carts walked up and started putting everything he could into the carts. He didn't even look at what he was getting - just piling it in! He ended up with 5 carts worth, taking most of the good stuff with him. Luckily, I grabbed the things I wanted, but geez! Now I know why my Targets never have any good clearance items left!

Found the red wine fridge for $19.xx. It appeared out of no where - maybe a return. They're finally marking down the Disney Mix Max's at one of my Targets, so check yours if they hadn't been marked down yet. Just went to 15% off. I'm hoping they'll make it to 75%this time!

DD decided that she wants a Wii for her birthday. I haven't paid any attention to them before, but I guess I'm going to have to start the search. My first questions - has anyone heard if Target will be getting any in soon (I have a 10% coupon right now)? What accessories do I need to buy to allow at least 2 kids to play? (I appologize if this info is already here, I did a skim and didn't see anything) Thanks for your help!

I'll be there St. Patricks Day weekend. AAA has a few deals, but mostly coupons for shopping. If I find any other coupons I'll post!

My Costco has them.

Costco, no question. I'm a member of both (only because I get Sam's free thru a relative) and Costco is far superior. If you spend a lot, get the $100 executive membership. We basically get our membership paid for every year with the rebate.

The short answer is - I'd say it's worth the $30 I paid for it. Can't even take the family to the movies for that! Of the 15 games, Pool, Foosball, and Ping Pong are the best. Don't buy it for the "air" hockey! It's "glide hockey" and a joke. My girls are 6 and 9 and they have been playing those 3 games non-stop since I put it together (took 2 days and some frustration with just me!). It's just the right size for the 9 year old and I can play foosball with no problem. It's sturdy enough for my girls, but I could see how the foosball table could have some issues if you got rough with the poles. My biggest complaint is it's a pain to have to take the heavy foosball part off (and find a place to put it) to play the other games. So, although it's not a replacement for a well made single version, I'd say it's good for the tween and under crowd.

Found this today - yay! I'm going to put it together right now. I'll let you know if it was worth the $30.... :)

If you are hesitant about going, you may want to wait until the 1/2 price sale. It's usually April/May. That sale includes 90% of the warehouse on 1/2 price, including the things on the shelves. This sale is mostly older books and those that are dinged up. Most everything is in big bins that you have to dig thru.

What is it about Target that makes me walk in there needing nothing and walking out with $40 worth of stuff!? I went in looking for the tv (still $99), but found lots of other things on clearance that I just couldn't resist. They still had 2 of those air hogs deals for $5, so I picked those up for gifts along with a few other goodies. Word from the guys in electronics is too look for the next markdowns on Monday - I think that jibes with the usual schedule. I'll head back then.... :)

I bought them for my 6 and 9 year olds. They seem pretty hardy - flash drive MP3's usually are.

I get less picky about the reviews when the price is right I'm holding on to these until Easter, but I'll let you know then if they're as bad as people say.

The pictures on the "stix" are different, but they're essentially the same thing. The non-video versions (which I found on both electronics and stationary clearance endcaps) are $25 and the video versions are $50 (both 50% off). I picked up a non-video Tinkerbell and a HS Musical for my 2 dd's at $25, but plan on getting the video (or re-buying/returning the others) if I catch them at 75% off (wish I knew when!!). The "clips" with movies on them were down to $10. I also found one Target that didn't have them on clearance - drives me crazy.....

Found an unexpectexd one today - Donkey Konga 2 game and bongos clearanced for $10 in electronics. The Disney Mix Stix are still 50% off - they had lots so I'm waiting for 75%.....
