Well, I know around here the last several years the lines for the several Best Buy's started around 1-2 p.m. and by the time the 5'o clock new came on there is atleast 50 or more people in line at each store then at the 11 p.m. news the line is probably 4 times longer. Last year a news crew counted the people at 11 p.m. and there was already over 300 people in line for just one store. I'm in the Fort Wayne, IN area.

It depends on which store you plan to go to and where you are located.

I usually get $50 in my paycheck right before Christmas and DH gets a bonus check sometime in December and his is a percentage of how much he has grossed in the last year. I will probably use DH's bonus check to pay off the CC from black friday if I need to use it.

First off: Hi my name is Jennifer and I am a BF Addict! Okay I took the first step to admitting it, What is the next step?! As for the dreams, yes I am already having them. Normally I am about 90% done with christmas shopping. BF for me every year is just going out to get the last of it done and buying extra stuff that we need or want. I normally start in June or July and pick up one or two things like t-shirts, jeans, socks, underwear for my three kids every week or two so that way I don't feel like I'm spending a lot on christmas. Well this year I have only bought a couple of things so I plan to buy the bulk of the christmas presents on BF. My latest dream was about this very subject. I'm in walmart standing at the register with nothing in the cart right behind me and I'm facing it wondering where all my stuff is at. I can see that I've got my shopping list (which is so long that is goes all the way to the floor) and all the store ads in my hands. Then all of a sudden I hear this beep and the cashier says "Excuse me, your balance is $3,299.97!" and I turn around to face the cashier and there is like twenty carts stacked full of clothes and toys, a desktop computer, a laptop, a digital camera, a big screen tv, a flat screen tv, and two carts full of food! I was only shocked about the carts of food and I ask "What's up with the food?" and she tells me that they put all their food on sale for 75% off. I then say "That's right, I'm going to freeze all this food for Christmas!" That's when I woke up.

For those of us looking at the Fisher Price FP3 player, they are not getting very good reviews. Two people on toysrus.com said that the buttons stick, the power button is on the back and it gets shut off easily, slow start up and slow to navigate. One woman said would only recommend for kids under the age of 6. I think I will wait to see if some more reviews come out and if not I'll just buy my kids the disney mix-stiks.

Yes I help, normally there is about 4 or 5 of us cooking. Since I live next to my dad I get up early to help put on the turkey, ham, and stuffing, then everything else is made alittle later. This is what is served at our dinner. We serve the same thing at Christmas. Turkey Ham Mashed Potatoes Sweet Potatoes Homemade Gravy Homemade Stuffing Corn Green Bean Casserole Veggy tray with dip Cheese and crackers Crab Dip and Crackers Spinach Dip with Crackers and/or Hawaiian Bread Rolls Pumpkin Pie Pumpkin Fluff Pie Apple Pie Sugar Cream Pie Cherry Delight and this year I'm going to make a pecan pie-I had this for the first time about a month ago and loved it! We have around 25 to 27 family members every year.

I wanted to get the FP mp3 player for my two along with the digital cameras but man that would be $240 in just those 4 items. Walmart has each for $59.99 around here. Several people have said the KB Toys does a FP BOGO free on BF so I think I'll see if they have these this year and if not then my kids are not getting them!

I use to buy the one as walmart or dollar general that are like $5. My kids love the popcorn but I hated it! After seeing a deal on here I ordered a tin from thepopcornfactory.com and it was so good. I'm planning on ordering DH a Michigan Wolverines 3 gallon tin for christmas and I think they are like $25 or $30.

Last year at Walmart a fight broke out over the laptops. Everyone was standing in a side isle because that is where they were told the laptops would be, then at 6 a.m. everyone was told to go to the electronics department so everyone took off running, pushing, and really mad! When everyone got to the right place people were jumping on others or trying to jump over other to get to the laptops. This 100 lb (she was short and really skinny) young woman said to her mom "If I can get one, will you buy it for me to take back to college?" and her mom said "Sure" so this girl crawled under everyone and came out with a laptop! Her mom was so mad because she didn't think her daughter would actually get one! My sister seen all of this happen and thought it was so funny watching this girl crawling on the floor with a laptop.

I usually only bake for the family. Cookies are: sugar, chocolate chip, peanut butter with Hershey Kisses and/or mini peanut butter cups, Potato, snickerdoodles, I know there are like 2 or 3 others but I can't think of their names! I buy that colored candy in the bags (can't think of the name) melt it down and then use molds to make christmas designs. I make 4 different kinds of fudge (regular fudge, fudge with pecans, peanut butter fudge, chocolate and peanut butter fudge that looks marbled). Dang it seems like I make more than this, I'll have to get out my receipes to see what else I make!

Do you remember which one you made?

For those who go to Kohl's and/or KB Toys, is it a major mad house like Walmart?

Does Fisher Price normally have good deals on BF? I would love to get my two oldest those new FP3 players that hold songs and stories, but I don't personally want to spend 70 bucks a piece on them! That is to high priced for me for it only holding something like 30 songs or 20 stories. TIA

I thought the shipping was high personally. It cost like $12.00 to ship both, I don't know if that is because I shipped them on different days or what.

Personally I think the people who don't go are nuts!!! But yes all my family, friends, co-workers all say I'm nuts except my husband but then my family always ask me to pick something up for them. I don't mind doing shopping for my dad cause he is older and can't get around real well due to his legs, but I think this year it's gonna be about me and my shopping. If everyone else wants the deals then they can get their butts out in the freezing cold and stand in line also!

Last year at Wal-mart I was the first person standing at the Cabbage Patch Newborns then several other people gathered around the pallet. By the time that the pallet was opened there was a hugh crowd behind us. As soon as it was opened everyone started pushing to be able to get one, I got my two in my cart but I couldn't move because of the crowd. This was the first time in all my years of BF shopping that I was pushed and it hurt cause they pushed me into my cart and the CPN boxes, which made me really mad so I just started throwing the boxes behind me! Just image a woman throwing boxes behind her without knowing where they were going. I was doing the alternating hand throwing...right hand throwing a box over my head and left hand picking up a box and so on. A couple times I threw three or four boxes at one time and I even ended up seeing some boxes that I must have thrown so high and far that they ended up two rows behind me in the middle of a toy isle! After seeing me throwing the boxes a walmart employee standing there started doing the same thing on her side of the pallet! At the time I was so mad and just wanted to get the rest of my deals but shortly after leaving I called my DH who was at another store and I laughed my ass off about it!

Hey! I actually live in Hicksville! As for our route, it depends on the ads. I always go to Wal-mart around 4 a.m. to get my store route figured and then I get all my ad-match stuff in my cart then I go stand next to a pallet that I know will go fast then I follow my store route to get everything else. My DH goes to what ever store I tell him to go to first then goes down the store list/route until I call him after I get out of Wal-mart. DH knows by now to just follow my list and NOT to call me once it reaches 6 a.m. cause I'm not talking to anyone!

For those of you who go during the christmas season, what is the weather like? Are any attractions shut down or limited hours?

I collect monopoly games too! I have a couple that are not on that site like Scooby Doo, Ford Mustang Collector's Edition (could only buy at a Ford Dealership), Original Disney one in the tin case, The Diamond Edition, Times Square, and Original NASCAR. This is pretty sad but I own all these special edition ones but not a 'plain' monopoly! I normally buy two of each, one to open and play with and the other gets put up until I can get a cabinet to display them in.
