  1. My son asked for the X-box 360. I told him no way. He already has a green x-box I won from Mt. Dew (I love free!), a PS2, Nintendo 64, and Regular PlayStation. Not to mention a GameBoy advance too. He tried last year for the DS but I honestly don't want him in the house sitting on this butt 24/7!
  2. I go out on Thanksgiving day. There is some good deals but only select stores are open. Kmart is where I go every year. They always put video games really cheap. Especially Game Boy Advance/Sp ones (usually $7.99). Bedding too. I remember last year I bought 2 pillows (grandpa big ones) for only $2 each.
  3. dvd player from Walmart in the kids room. TV also (extra one to put a game system on as my kids have 4 of them!). I actually have 2 dolls that my daughter got for christmas that are still in the box. She never looks at them. Cheap me is going to wrap them up and give them to my twin neices. Im sure they will appreciate them more. My daughter just said, "ok, give them away"
  4. I hate the newly hired BF employees. The young ones who are rude and obnoxious. I just don't go to Best Buy on BF. One year my husband wanted this one DVD they had for really cheap. Anyway, I finally find a spot, get in and get the dvd. Check out was approx. 2 hours! The line wrapped around the store from appliances on one end of the store to computers on the other end. Only 4 registers open. How stupid is that. I put the DVD back and ended up buying it on ebay.
  5. On Regis and Kelly today, Family Fun magazines' 10 top toy list was on. I wasn't impressed with most of their picks. A couple I liked, but they were for boys (too young for mine)
  6. Im a pro! One day I would love to get my husband to go out with me if we could ever get a sitter for the kids. He never believes the pushing/shoving sometimes. I tell him stories and he never believes them! I don't think though he'd ever agree to stand in line at 2am. LOL. He's barely turning over at that point
  7. Still thats a great deal if you don't want to go to the store. I'll have to check it out. Thanks
  8. On Thanksgiving day I run to Kmart as they always have cheap video games and bedding. On BF, I go to the toys stores as thats what I mainly shop for. KB Toys and Walmart (price matching)
  9. always full of workers. Im by myself on BF so if anything I need help! Too many packages and only 2 arms. BUT if I didn't have anything and left the store (yeah right) I would help someone
  10. thanks for reminding us! Just did.
  11. My walmart puts actually tarps on them. Shoot. If it was just brown paper, I'd bring my two destructive neices with me so they can poke a hole or two. LOL
  12. I've been known to place an item in the wrong aisle, lets say- maybe in another department. cough-cough
  13. Since you will have a supercenter, its 24 hours right? Anyway, even though you can get into the store before BF pricing begins (6am I think) you cannot touch the BF merchandise thats on pallets throughout the store. They are tarped and will be opened once 6am comes around. So if you do go there first this year, you'll see all the tarped pallets of merchandise and know they are the BF items in the ad.
  14. Nope. A store has great BF deals, I will be there
  15. I've been saving for awhile. Alittle here and there. Im up to $150 dollars. Not bad as Im a stay at home mom. Change from groceries, hubby's pockets when I do laundry (fair game LOL), my birthday money from my parents and grandparents (Yes at age 30 I still get my card w/ money in it) etc
  16. KB Toys usually. Last year though my sister lined up there. I lined up at Toys R Us. Then headed to Walmart

    BF Ad Matching

I have the 24 hour super center and they carried pretty much all my price matching items. I love 24 hour as you don't have to freeze outside waiting and also you can have your price matching items in the cart already. Very convenient. In and Out pretty quick
  18. walmart is the best on pricing. Their bikes are competitive with that price. I would check there
  19. My first BF was in 1998. Love it now as much as I did then!
  20. I was in the Toys R Us line about 10 minutes before they opened on BF. A mother/daughter duo kept coming in front of the line and hanging out. I was 3rd in line and the 2 in front of me were loud men (hot wheels was on sale so the collectors were there). The one guy told her if they thought to skip in line they had another thing coming. They kept denying it saying they wanted to look at the ads posted on the door. Anyway, they wouldn't leave and soon the employees were coming to unlock door. The 2 guys were fed up and so when the doors opened, it was a mad dash. The mother/daughter duo tried to run in front the the guys. Needless to say they didn't get far. The one guy stuck out his leg and tripped them up. They didn't fall to the ground, but it was funny to see their face.
  21. I did some of my shopping on line last year. Its convenient too
  22. Toys arent' on the poll. I go for my kids first as I do my christmas shopping that day and I try to finish it up.
  23. The difference is the people. Conversation and friendliness is the key to a successful site. Needless to say with the warm welcomes I received, I have stayed all year since last BF.
  24. It won't effect me at all. All the stores I go to is in the same area. (Mall area about 10 minutes from the house).
