Loved the prices on the TVs but they are all refurbished. I'd rather not go that route.

Cannot believe no one has GLEE Dvd!!! I really need the entire Glee season 1. Cheapest I saw is on Amazon for $39.

My husband is the scrooge and takes down ALL christmas stuff on 12/25. Ridiculous I know, but he has always done this. Because of it I put the tree up as early as I can. I'm thinking next weekend. Everyone laughs as we get up christmas morning. Unwrap. Kids put away all items they get. My husband runs around with a trash bag and cleans up all the paper, etc. We get ready and go to my parents house. Get home around 6pm or so. By 8-9pm the tree is down, ornaments and all decorations put away. He vacuums and that's it. I've tried to break him of this, but he has always done it this way. Going on 13 years now.

I am usually always in my 24 hour Walmart nice and cozy. LOL. Already have my items in the cart and also my price matched items ready to go (at my Walmart you can put everything in you carts by 2am and wait until checkout (the only items you have to stand in line for is electronics.

BB is the one place I will not go too. I refuse to eat Thanksgiving dinner outside in line in front of a store! That is exactly what you have to do by me. Every year I go the longer way home after eating at my parents and go by BB to see how many people in line. EVERY YEAR a minimum of 50++ people are already there by 2pm. CRAZY. Tents up... footballs being thrown, etc.

I ordered several items from JC Penny online.... I believe I was able to order alittle after midnight. picked the option to pick up in store too! Everything went through fine.

Amazon has been good to me also. My packages have been arriving this whole week. lol. Free shipping is a plus for me

In all honesty... It's not because the ads aren't that great... It's because the stores are putting such good deals NOW. I'm done with my daughter and 95% done with my son. Such great pre- BF deals that I'm buying now and may not go out (or have to go out). At this point I would be impulse shopping if I went to too many places on BF. My two kids are ages 16 and 10. Both are electronic and gaming kids. No toys here.

I wasn't trying to "Scare" anyone when I posted that. I was concerned myself and wanted other people's opinion. Never owned a Westinghouse.

Got the 18" monkey one that my daughter wanted. Amazon wanted $31 for it! Is the monkey one rare? I did check for in store and all my Walmarts are sold out. Glad I just got it. Pick up is estimated next week. Great deal as I haven't seen anyone with them on BF.

FOUND THIS ON A REVIEW SITE FOR THE Westinghouse TV: Warning about Westinghouse LCD HDTVs - No one sells repair parts - You don't want to own this brand! You can't buy parts for Westinghouse Digital flat panel LCDs. Do not buy Westinghouse, they have no service department! Best Buy won't sell Westinghouse HDTVs anymore. Truth to this? I copied and pasted this comment left by a reviewer. Apparently they owned a 40" Westinghouse. After one year the color went. Here is another comment: I did contact Westinghouse, many times, they don't sell my mainboard part, no one has it. I should have bought the extended warrent in hindsight. Westinghouse sucks. Best Buy found that out. My tv was 18 months old, out of warranty, when it malfunctioned. If I owned a functioning Westinghouse HDTV now, I would sell it while its still working.

I was hoping to see a better selection of Tvs for Black Friday... Guess I'll buy somewhere else. Westinghouse is not good in consumer reports. Surprisingly mine is very well stocked. They have an entire endcap in the main aisle of just Holiday Glade items. There is the giftcard deal too... Buy 5 and get a $5 giftcard. The only thing they haven't got back in was the candle refills (apple cinnamon). Everything else is stocked.

I deposit all the Christmas money I have saved in my checking account a few days before and then just use my debit card. My husband doesn't like me carrying a lot of cash as I go out alone on Black Friday.

I have two children.. Ages 10 and 15 (16 next month). For the first time I have barely started shopping. Cannot believe you are almost done! I can't buy too much ahead though because they are out of the "Toy" phase. They have the pricey electronics on their lists. lol

I heard through an employee at Walgreens that on Black Friday they would be Buy one get one Free (19.99 for two of them). No ad for me to see, but she said they got in a bunch of them in the back for BF)
