  1. I have a whopping list at Walmart- $4 towels, Ripley's book, and pillows. LOL. I'm in no rush to head over. Going to TRU at midnight then swinging over to browse.
  2. I know every year that I have gone to Target- they had an employee stationed at the locked cases and unlocked it as needed. Then you had to go to the electronics desk to checkout. It was a complete mad house. Especially with TONS of people trying to get through with carts.
  3. I go in early and get all my items that I will be price matching. Then find where I want to start shopping come 5am and wait. It's the wait that sucks. lol. I go in at 1am or so. Do some other shopping. Always forget some grocery item too. I swear I buy more at Walmart being there so early. Make sure you print out a map so you know where to line up at. They are available on their website. I know several of my big ticketed items are going to be located in the lawn and garden which is great for me (don't need any computers/blue ray, but its great they put them over there to get rid of some of the congestion).
  4. They open around me at midnight Thanksgiving night.
  5. I think 3am is too late. I would be heading out by midnight.
  6. I want to look at the $7 DS games. Wonder how they are going to do this one. Is it going to be a free for all? Hope not.
  7. I was at my Toys R Us today... Hours for BF was posted on the door.... Midnight open-10:30pm on Friday!
  8. Got mine at Target for $44. Only reason being is that I had $45 left in Gift Cards and it only cost me $1.87 w/ the tax.
  9. Whats funny is... I don't need anything at all at TRU, but my sister has conned me into going with her so she doesn't have to stay in line herself. UGH. So I will be in line at TRU around 8-9pm with her. Boy does she owe me. lol
  10. My kids are older now, but when they were younger, I did regret buying all those darn toys with a million parts. I swear I stepped on so many pieces and so many were lost. I was a really bad impulse buyer back in the day. Now that they are older and don't play with toys, it's a lot better (though more expensive!). lol

    Batteries?????

I have over 200 FREE 2-packs of Rayovac Alkaline batteries from Target. Using $1/1 coupon and they are $1. I'm set for a LONG time on batteries. (also threw in some AAA just in case lol). Most of them AA though
  12. Well, I just went to Target yesterday and bought the $44 Left 4 Dead 2. Get that out of the way as BF is NUTS around the video game section. I had Target Gift Cards so paid $1.87 for it after using them. Happy that's one thing out of the way to fight for. lol
  13. There is nothing for me in the ads this year. I will go with my sister to help her get the toys she needs at TRU and Walmart, but I'm done shopping. Got my 42" TV already for my husband so thats off my list. Plus got my under the cabinet radio/cd player too for myself. (I had over $400 in Target Giftcards from the glade deal so used those). I also got my son his Left 4 Dead 2 game at Target... Paid $1.87 after Gift cards.
  14. Today my sister didn't get the regular TRU ad, but she got the Black Friday ad! Go figure
  15. Today I got: Receive a $10 Giftcard when you purchase $100 or more on Friday November 27 from 5am-noon. Spit out with my receipt.
  16. I don't want anything from the ad... My sister wants the $88 guitar w/ amp though. I'm praying its available online because she wants me to stand with her. lol. Its $103 right now on the website.
  17. I live by die hards. If you aren't in line by 1am then you are at least 40th in line. I don't see much in the ad for me this year so I am hitting walgreens and Rite Aid on Thanksgiving then heading over.
  18. I will be at Walmart to price match and get the towels and look at all the video game titles (boy will that be a mad house). Plus DVDs.
  19. wondering where is the DS games? I usually always get one or two games from there.
  20. Not sure if there is anything for me. Will have to decide when I get the actual ad. I think its just Walgreens and Rite Aid for me. I may swing by for the 2liters.. I have coupons for $1 off when you buy 4 pepsi 2 liters. They are .88 at Kmart.
  21. My Walmart had the tvs last year in abundance. 3 pallets in total
  22. The lastest would be midnight. (just so you are in the front of the line). If its the only Target in your area... Earlier would be up to you. I know I was heading to Walmart last year and past my one Target... It was a little after midnight and there was already a good line of 20-30 people.
  23. The TVs were claimed last BF at my Walmart by 8pm the previous night. My walmart since its 24 hours just had you stand by the tv. By the time I got there around midnight- EVERY tv was claimed.
  24. I only have been to TRU a couple times on BF. Both experiences were hell. I was 3rd in line. By the time the doors opened, 50 people at least tried to run from their cars. It was horrible. I was shoved so bad that day. Then once I did get everything... The lines were HORRIBLE. It took me over 45 minutes to check out. No organization. Now maybe it has gotten better as I haven't been for over 3 years, but I seriously doubt it. When you go there, count on shoving back lol.
  25. Yes. Especially if I plan to price match. I want to make sure they do have the item in stock... THEN where it is in the store.
