Yes .. if all else fails, get the Gamecube controllers they fit the Wii. You can also play Gamecube games on the Wii as well. No, they are the same .. the remote for the Wii is wireless and the nunchuk plugs into the remote. The classic controller you need if you want to play games you download from the Wii channel or Gamecube games, I believe.

I take the packaged Peanut Butter Cookie mix and roll into balls into a small muffin tin. Right after they come out of the oven, I pop a mini Reese cup in the middle. Waaay better than just a Hershey Kiss .. I might have to try the Oatmeal with the chocolate covered raisins .. yummo

This story made our news today as well with the following advice. Make sure to keep your giftcard receipt. Whoever is stealing the gift card from you will have to order online and they have to have it sent somewhere. The retailers are saying they are trying to put an end to this. But - I also heard that their employees can pull this same thing if they decide to keep the gift cards behind the registers.

Walmart.com has the 2 disc version for $19.97, but at the store it rings up $24.97. Go figure. I'm tempted to pay the extra money at get it at Best Buy just to get the bobblehead - how sick is that ??? Will Best Buy honor a Walmart.com ad?

Our WM got the Wii in - but no extra controllers.

It's a great place for stocking stuffers. I got tons of Happy Bunny stuff last year. At 50% off, it's a great place to shop. As my kids get older, I often have a hard time finding things as most of the stock is geared toward K-5th graders. Anything you've ever seen in the Scholastic book flyer you can find at this sale.

I love wrapping gifts too. It is really slow at work right now, so about a week before Christmas, I start bringing in my gifts to wrap .. lol When my mom was alive, she would only shop at the local mall where the local HS marching band would wrap your gifts for a donation. lol

Have you ever thought of making her replace it with her allowance or making her earn the money herself to buy it on her own? I started doing that to try to get my kids actually appreciate the things they have. I got so tired of my kids treating their toys with no respect thinking that it would just be replaced when it got broken. It works.

You can always use the story that my mom gave me once .. it was being delivered for the kid next door. Make sure you swear them to secrecy for it to work.

that's not true. My Walmart had a huge sign up when you walked in the door that said they would PM anyone's add on BF .. and the WM I ended up in on BF had the same sign. I think WM policy on PMing is up to the individual store manager.

Mine are under my bed and in the closet. I usually wait til the last week to wrap. I don't put anything under the tree til the kids go to bed Christmas Eve.

It's not just the classic controllers that are hard to come by. It's ALL the Wii controllers. Remember the system comes with ONE controller and it doesn't come with the nunchuk. If you want to play a multi person game .. you are SOL. I was lucky and scored 2 of the Wii controllers from Walmart the day the system was released and I have yet to find them anywhere else after that date. I guess I'll be hitting Walmart again on the 6th to see if they got in any more accessories. And I'm looking for the classic controllers too cause I'd much rather pay $10 for an older downloaded game than $50 for a brand new one.

By December 15th, my shopping will have been long completed and the gifts will be wrapped.
