That's what mine told me when I tried that 2 years ago. I even asked if he would call corporate and double check and he told me no. I got home and called corporate and they apologized. It's such a hassle to do that and they normally have enough of everything and if they don't they'll give you a raincheck unless it's a "special purchase" and you won't find those on the shelves before BF anyway.

I ordered all my Best Buy DVDs online last year really early on Turkey day. Selected free instore pick up and picked them up on Sunday. What they didn't have in store, BB shipped for free.

But if you're mixing it with alcohol - does it really matter?

bwuahaha .. I can't believe you mentioned this! When my DD was 12 she and I were in the car having a "heated discussion". She looked at me and said .. "if you do that I won't talk to you ever again except to say I'm not paying for it when you get put into the nursing home". I looked at her and we both just busted out laughing.

When we saw them last year, everyone was dressed so differently. Unless you're in a ballgown that might be the only way you'd be overdressed. And I dont' believe there is such a thing as under-dressed .. unless you go in your jammies!

Or keep an eye out for a Circuit City ad. They will normally run all single CDs for $9.99 during the holiday season.

It's not really necessary IMHO. But the remotes do eat up batteries. You might want to invest in some rechargeable batteries and keep a set charging at all times.

I was able to purchase several of the nondoorbuster items last year really early on Thursday morning (like 6am) last year. I bought the Cannon all-in-one printer, SD cards and the Panasonic Camcorder. Shipped to my home for free. For the DVDs I selected free instore pickup. What the store didn't have, Best Buy ended up shipping to me for free.

I'd call and ask the store you will be shopping at. The Zune at TRU is also a closeout model, so they might not even carry that one - if you read the ad, you'll also note that it is for the BROWN one, if they don't have brown than I'd say no. But check the TRU thread, last year they started selling their BF items on Wednesday for the same price.

As much as I love to decorate, I just can't seem to find the time anymore. Between being a single mom, work and 2 teenagers and their activites, I barely have time to cook anymore. I didn't even decorate for Halloween this year. Just put out my turkey flag this morning. Every year I swear I'm gonna get more organized. I bought one of those big blowup things for the year and I HAVE to put that out this year. I really wish I could hire someone to decorate my yard for me.

Well it's November 14th and I've already returned 2 Christmas gifts I've bought. Turns out that DD16 wasn't specific enough on her list - she asked for Charmed, but failed to mention she only wanted the season AFTER Shannon D left the show. So I had fun with the dude at Best Buy when he asked if there was anything wrong with them. With a straight face I said, "They have Shannon Doherty in them." He just laughed and shrugged his shoulders and did the return. Anyone else done returns yet?
