yeah - a $30 Coach bag from NYC is a knockoff. But I've bought some really good knockoffs in NYC and no one can tell the difference. But they were for me - they weren't a gift.

I'd go back to her and ask her if she wants a Coach purse or next semester's tuition. Maybe she didn't know how much they were?
