I enjoy it too and would not mind making money doing it for people, I have quite of bit of wraping paper, tissure paper and boxes too. I love having a cup of something hot to drink, put in a Christmas movie and wrap gifts

TRU has one , it it the Barbie Fashion Head I think. Some have her hands and head so you paint their finger nails too.

What are the "HOT" toys off the past that you have tried to get
shopping mom replied to jellybean051901's topic in 2006
Power Ranger action figures when they first came out with the white one. We were in TRU and there were none on the shelf. One of the stockers said I am getting ready to go get some and put on the shelf and we were able to get two of every color for the boys that year. -
I saw those pillow things today and they are cute. Did you find them on sale somewhere?

All the ads so I know what I can price match at Wal-mart. I pretty much have their toy department memorized so I know what is available for BF

I have a nice watch for one of the boys that I picked up from Kohls. I have jeans and other clothes I know there are hoodies from Aeropostle that I picked up for 5.00 a piece. I have some toys for DD3 that I held back from last year (she was getting way to much) I have some small electronic dart boards, and some stocking stuff but I do not remember what. DD3 will need winter clothes and DD18 is harder to but for. She wants a six string Seagull guitar and I do not think I can get it this year. I am so glad that I have some stuff put away. Thanks for reminding me.

Do you know if they had wooden swings on sale too???

We have used the storage bins on the rack sold at Target. I like it because she can see what she wants to play with and does not need to pull eerything out. She can also carry a bin to another room and it is easier for her to pick up when she is done. This might not be big enough for you but it works really well for us. Her dolls and stuffed animals are in one of those nets, favorites are on the bed or in a small chair. A few bigger toys are under the bed. She can easily get to everything and easily put it away as well.

My DH actually bought the first one pictured above for our youngest DD last year. They still play with it together. For some reason she wanted a train and we saw no reason to say no.

I asked for that day off when I took my new job, my manager loves to shop BF so she said no problem.

My daughter and mom have gone with me the last three years, but mom is not in the states and DD may have to work. So I will go solo too. I need the deals. Don't worry there will others out there and you can make a new friend in line

My older ones make list and if it has to be specific for example DS22 wants tools so he has to include name and model number. The list also has to have various price ranges and be big enough to give me choices. I enjoyed it more when they were all little but they are still my kids.

As my kids got older that good at figuring out what was in the package because they knoew I try tried to get them what they asked for. So for a few years I wrapped everything in the same paper added peenies to the box for noise and instead of a name I assigned everyone a color and only I knew who each color was. They kids loved it and no one knew what they were getting. This year I am using whatever was on sale, and DD3 is not good at guessing.

KB in the mall had them this morning. The last prson to get one was two in front of me Sorry I missed out but I will keep trying!

I do not want one here but if I find one I'll get it and you can pay me for it, no extra. Let us know if you find one and I will start checking in my area.

So far I have about $35.00 saved but considering we have had no paychecks since June first and all of our bills are up to date we have not done bad. We do not owe any charge cards either. The job at the photo studio is not giving the hours I need but I may be okay with the hours there for Christmas money if the other job I am looking comes through. I would really like to have $150 per child if possible that would be $900.

Does anyone remember when the TRU coupon book comes out?
shopping mom replied to Gloey's topic in 2006
Thanks for the information I am now on their mailing list. -
last year was my first on GottaDeal and I really enjoyed having the time to plan. I think my favorite memory is the time spent on Thanksgiving going through the ads with my mom, dad, daughter, her friend, my cousin and my aunt. I love the time with the family. On Friday we were able to get all the deals we wanted and then some.

Does your family/friends think you are *nuts* for shopping on BF?
shopping mom replied to NeepNeep's topic in 2006
Some do some don't, it depends. Usually if I get them to goonce they love it. My mom is really sad that she can not go this year, but she will be looking at the ads and telling me what to buy. -

Fisher Price Digital camera
shopping mom replied to jellybean051901's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
While you are looking at the camera look at there FP3 player it is an MP3 that you can put songs you already own on it or downloaad from their website. My DD loves to take pictures with her sissys camera and she loves music. The FP3 also lets you download stories. It will be a tough decision or maybe i should get both????? -
The past few years we have had four vehicles out and all 4 end up full. This year there will only be two vehicles but we will make it work in one trip.
