  1. thanks for the reminder, I am to trusting sometimes and not as aware as I should be. I am glad you are ok, and that the caught the bad guys!
  2. Sports type magazines, or biographys of famous sports people. If she is into science, how about a really good telescope, or microscope (not a kids version) Craft wise why not an inexpensive sewing machine and some simple patterns, for pillows or aprons. Those would be easy projects but not to time consuming and she me develop an interest in sewing other things. My DD is not super big on jewelry either but I have found that one nice piece now and then is good for the girly side of her. Her favorite has been the diamond studs I got her at Kohls and gave to her for her graduation. I hope that helps a little, it seems every year I have at least one child who is more difficult to buy for.
  3. I have told mine the same thing. It is funny now because the older five love the secrecy as much as I do. My DS 15 knows what his sister is getting and he said he is so excited to about Christmas because he ca not wait to see her face. Once they understand the joy it brings you to see their faces they will not want to snoop. By the way I would not want to return the PSP I got my DS this year either. If he thinks his sister is going to be happy, I can just imagine how thrill he will be.
  4. The watches at walgreens were a good deal to I bought 1 for my brother and 1 for DS
  5. Sears priced match the PSP core system and with the giftcard and daughters 10% discound I got it for 142.99. Sd and Pro duo memory cards were great deals to I now one of them was 99.00 and I got it for 19.99. The 40 dollars in Kohls cash I got will be great next week! plus I have 2 more pick your day 15% off coupons to use. DVD player a Macys was 79.99 I used the 10 dollar off coupon, thenI used two 10 dollar gifts cards we got in the mail from the company. So Igot it for 49.99 and no rebates to mail in!
  6. Of my own money maybe 150 but the granmothers, and other relatives send money and tell me to buy the kids something they want or need, so I spent a little over 1,000 today. (I love to shop, they like the deals I get for their money, the kids get things they like)
  7. Our Walmart normally sells out on the blitz items fast. This year I did not get there till 9:30 and I was surprised by all that was left.
  8. I am glad ours priced matched, however Circuit City would not.
  9. I have to work so I am done for this weekend. Plus I am out of money for Christmas shopping until the next paycheck. I also need to recheck my figure just to be sure I am sticking to the plan
  10. I hid everything at moms house(they are out of the country) so no wrapping tonight. I really should be doing my online classes but I am tired I have to work 9am to 8 pm tomorrow, so I am trying to unwind a little. Wrapping presents would have been fun!
  11. Thanks for all the great suggestions! I can not believe I did all that shoping todau and did not buy me a movie. I have most of those suggested but have never heard of the Christmas Shoes. I'll have to look this week.
  12. Sounds like me only I was maybe eighth in line. Sears was great this year!
  13. DS stood in GameStop line for 3 hours for a Wii for himself, was third in line, and did not get one they had a shipment of one. He was very disappointed, and it was his first BF too.
  14. Best Sears, free gift card, courteous employess directing and at registers, items in stock, pricematched, I got 3 kids done in less than an hour of opening. (Plus I got an extra off with DD's discount) Worst. Kohls, get prices but horrible lines
  15. I did not get the digital picture frame everywhere I went they were sold out. I had 2 others looking for me and they were gone when within minutes of the door opening
  16. For the girl Christian Book stores carry some good books for that age I remember one was called Mandi. There were several books about her. I like the classics too. Craft kits so she can make jewelry. Maybe a nail polish set or hair accessories. Password Journal is 14.99, Doodle bear, personal cd player, or A pretty watch. For the boy a sweatshirt with a wolf on it or a wallet, a personal cd player, cd case (might find one with a wolf on it) I am sure I have seen blankets with a wolf on them. A watch, soccer ball or a poster.
  17. My boys are around that age and they like Cool Water, Boss, and Lucky
  18. I was just wondering if you found a doll at the fair you went to. I think it is such a sweet thing for to ask for.
  19. Wireless controller for PS2, a digital photo frame with pictures of you and the kids, a ring, mp3 if he likes music, a nice pocket knife, hmm I'll keep thinking.
  20. I like the FP Laugh and Learn Piano too. Leap Frog products are good too. My little ones always like me to read to them so maybe a nice collection of Dr. Seuss could be his big item. Of course he will like the boxes better than the toys anyway (mine did)
  21. My sons usually get, clothes, cologne, or something that interest them from their GFs.
  22. Sams club has them here as does Target last I looked.
  23. I am not sure about brands or quality but I am going to try to get my son the one in the Kohls BF ad
