  1. I don't think anyone does that around here, but it's a cute idea.
  2. Yes, everything they have is provided by us. However, some things are necessities and some things aren't. I am not obligated to provide them with toys, games, etc. - I give them as gifts. Clothing is a necessity that I buy as needed or when I see something that I want them to have. I don't wrap up clothes that I would be buying anyway just so they have more "stuff" to open. Like I said before, when they become teenagers and really want expensive outfits (beyond what is "necessary"), that will be a different story. Uh, I'm not giving it to them on a "gift-giving" day. Clothes are bought as needed. I don't hoard them until Christmas so it looks like they have more presents. Yes I suppose so, but that doesn't happen here.
  3. Amazon.com or Sam's Club.
  4. My Walmart hands out "maps" indicating where the BF items are located throughout the store.
  5. Unfortunately, the most recent free shipping code for American Girl expired on 10/22/07. Hopefully they'll have another one out before the holidays, or even a $10 off $30 code. I ordered the Julie doll for my DD too -- it arrived a few days ago! If I find any new codes I'll post them right away, so keep checking back!
  6. No, our kids are young (7 & almost 10) and it is our responsibility to provide them with clothing anyway, so I would never try to pass it off as a "gift". However, when they become teenagers and start wanting all the expensive name brands, then we probably will.
  7. Also get FREE SHIPPING on any purchase with code 7420440!
  8. Oh my! I would be hard pressed to give him anything after witnessing that!! That is very thoughtful!
  9. Usually around Thanksgiving.
  10. 10-12 presents each
  11. Or maybe you are talking about the Clorox Bleach Pen?
  12. I live in New York State and I have never heard of it.
  13. Yep, I cashed in on this deal yesterday! I also had two TRU coupons that I had received in the mail, $15 off a purchase of $125 and $10 off a purchase of $100. Naturally, the fine print says you can only use one per transaction, so I broke my order up into two separate purchases. First I bought the Nintendo DS Lite for $129.99, used my $15 off $125 coupon, and was rewarded with a $20 gift card. Then I purchased six DS games (three were $19.99 and three were $29.99), two of which were free (Buy 2 Get 1 Free), taking $40 off the total. I also used my $10 off $100 coupon, PLUS the $20 gift card I had just gotten from my first purchase, for a grand total of $77.16 (including tax) for six Nintendo DS games!
  14. Yeah, that one is ongoing for Old Navy cardholders. I was hoping for a $10 off code, or a percentage off code.
  15. I'm looking for a code for Old Navy....anyone have one? TIA
  16. www.oldnavy.com
  17. We are 30 minutes away from any major stores, but I'm used to it. I can't imagine having a Target, Walmart, etc. right around the corner! The only "chain" store in this one-horse town is Stewart's!
  18. If you have a code for free shipping, you should take advantage of it right now. There are no guarantees that there will be another code out before Christmas, and AG shipping costs are pretty high.
  19. We alternate between an angel and a star. I prefer the star.
  20. I have seen them at Target.
  21. Multi-colored or red/white mixed.
  22. Finding a couple pallets full of those 24" Bratz dolls at Walmart and getting the exact ones I wanted. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to get any. A small thing, but it made me happy.
  23. I will be in Kingston, NY and no, I don't have a GottaDeal shirt.
  24. Walmart at 5:00am, then Target opens at 6:00am.
