Love those fly wheels for b-day presents for my 7 yr olds friends. Nice to have stuff on hand for gifts.

Just curious if anyone has been to TRU. Do you know if they are giving out the $10 gift cards still? Also I can't remember from last year, do they print another big book before Christmas or just regular Sunday paper ads.

I doubt that they would do it for you since it isn't a local competitor.

Depends on what is on sale. Hope to try the buy a couple days ahead of time - visit customer service desk for a price adjustment- idea. I will check the week prior at my local stores to make sure they do it.

Do you have a link for the MIR or do I just go to the Warner Bros site? Sounds like a great gift idea.

They both were available online for purchase and later on it read in store only is what I meant.

Mine was crazy too. They were parking on the grass and on the along side of the hwy in front of the store. My DH dropped me and DD off to go in while he looked for a parking spot. There was a Menards employee outside that asked if I wanted a cart so I took it. Boy did I get stares inside the store as I had a cart and they didn't. I got the run around inside about where an item I wanted was at but there were a couple employees very helpful and would run and go get things while we stood in line - 1 1/2 hrs in line too by the way.

Please contact Best Buy Corporate and let them know what you think of their BF fiasco. I think if more of us would complain maybe , just maybe, it may get through to someone finally!

I found out the same thing at the Duluth store!

I didn't want to chance it and ordered it online from Target.com. Then I went to order the Kawasaki dvd player put it in my cart, waited until morning to submit the order and it came up out of stock. Tried again later and it showed up in store only for the camera and dvd player - strange. I did find the dvd player in the store though.

That is up to the stores to limit the qty each customer can buy. If the stores don't put a limit then there is nothing wrong with it.

Our Walmart was also a good experience. We got there around 4:30 went in and looked for things we needed and then parked ourselves next to the pallets with what we wanted and at 5 am we got what we needed and left. Was great!

We got in line at 5:15. We ran to get to the electronics dept, got the dvd player, case and one of the employees opened up the glass case for everyone to fend for themselves on the gameboy sp's, only that they were not the ones in the ad, just regular ones. We told him it should be a bundle, he got on his walkie talkie, we followed him as he tried to find them, no luck. We found another employee and he also had no clue where they were. Now we are on to the 3rd employee and he has no idea where they are and starts taking first names. Why???? I decide to go to customer service and demand a rain check as they were never put on the shelves in the first place. Well we get into line to check out, only had to wait behind 2 people. I told the lady I want a raincheck as the item is no where to be found. She said the ad stated limited quantities so they wouldn't give a raincheck. I told her I understand that if there was 1 or 2 on the shelf but since there were zero out and three electronics employees had no clue where they even were I should get a raincheck or it is false advertising. She called someone over who radioed back to electronics who told her they found them and asked how many I wanted, I said one, and someone from electronics ran it up to the register. So by the time they found them, those of us first in line to get into the store would have no longer been first in line to get the sp as the store was full of people all wanting the same thing. Menards took us 2 hrs. 1/2 hr to find everything and 1 1/2 hr in line to checkout. I was sent to one dept to find something only to be sent to a different dept from there and once there they wanted me to go back to the same dept which I originally started at. I said no way - I keep sent to the wrong place. She offered to go get it for me and dh had to carry it as it was heavy for her. Another employee would run and go get anyone whatever they forgot from the ad and bring it back to them in line. Carts were scarce though, as was parking spots.

I think these are the older SP's without the new brighter screen. The only reason I know is someone in these message boards was kind enough to point out that the new brighter screen ones only come in 2 colors.

Yes I got the Kodak camera online at Target. My list isn't too long so hopefully we will be able to get it all done in the next few hours!

Last night I found the Kawasaki 9" portable dvd player online at Target and had it in my cart but waited till this morning to purchase and when I went to do it they were sold out! I also tried to do the light sabers at Walmart online but the shipping is too much. I found everything else in pallets shrinkwrapped at the store except for those.

Still up here too. Did the shower, contemplating coffee. Don't want to have to use the restrooms at the store! No time for that! lol Will head out of here around 3:30, take 45 min to get there.

Good idea! I wonder, I guess I should say we will see if Walmart PM's Target when Target's ad doesn't start till 1 hr later.
