No change in plans, we knew it would be cold. Right now feels like 2 below with windchill.

Heck I went to the 3 stores in town that were open today and no one had any newspapers! I had to call the neighbors for their ads! lol

Ok, so who else is staying up all night??

Still up in MN. I figure a couple hours sleep will do me in and I won't feel like getting out of the nice warm bed into the freezing cold MN temps. -
Best Buy stinks - I have tried ordering in the past and they say my address does not exist. I guess I don't know where the **** I am!

Thanks for pointing that out. When I ask a SA today he was so new he was clueless. The one at Target is a good deal because you know for sure it has the new brighter screen.
-
FYI it is coming up for sale price online tonight!!! If you order online don't forget to use the 10% off code TCADVJAB

I looked up the Kawasaki portable dvd player online and it was regular price today. Went to the store and it was regular price. Started searching again online tonight and it went to BF price. Pays to keep checking I guess!

Boy do I feel dumb. Why didn't I think to put items in my cart and check back in - duh!

Did you see Sears had the shuffle in their ad that runs thru today for 79.99. Also there was one at some midwestern store, can't remember the name, they had the $50 gift card if you buy one. -
Lucky You! I went to Target today as I was "in town" and they didn't have any of the SP bundles out and asked if they had a lot of stock and of course said the usual "I don't know". I found the dvd players but there weren't many there so hope to get in there early. Maybe no one else will want one - lol. I did get the Kodak C315 online at BF price today though. I had to pay shipping and tax as I am from MN and Target is headquatered in MN but I used the 10% off and saved $9 which was more than shipping cost and also got my hometown tax rate instead of the store tax rate so saved 1 1/2% tax so actually was cheaper to do online.

We checked out WM as long as we were "in town" and found what we were looking for except the light sabers. Just some regular ones for $6 something. Everything is shrink wrapped in pallets down all aisles. -
AGREE I have bought vacuums, rug shampooers, digital camera and camcorders and extended warranties. When I have a broken item that needs replacement with the warranty I have to send in DH because they treat us women like we don't know what we are talking about. I love the extended warranty buys but poor DH has to go in whenever there is a problem.

Use this code for 10% off: TCADVJAB I live in MN so I get charged tax from Target (home state company) but still with the code I saved money. I bought the Kodak C315 for 89.99 (only one of my items that came up at BF price) and got charged 7.99 s/h with 10% off it is less 9.00 then the 6.5% sales tax. If I bought in the store on BF it would be 7.5% tax so I did save a couple bucks plus one less thing to try find.

Does anyone have one of these? Are they worth the price? I don't see any on BF ads. Any other type better?
-
I asked at my TRU (MN) and they said they do not price match the online prices. It is worth a shot to call and ask though. Who knows if each store is run differently - maybe it's up to mgmt.

I seen the Kohls commercial on tv today and it was a Mintek

At our WM you go back to the dept where the item is sold and get the ticket. They don't pass them outside to a line of people - ours is a 24 hr WM so there is no outside line of people.

No sales tax on clothing in Minnesota

Thanks for the info - I want to get my DD one for Christmas - inexpensive but no cheap - will go with the Kodak - looks like it should be pretty easy for her to learn.
-
Thanks - it is now on my list!

I am in Northern Minnesota and our Walmart does the ticket thing for the big items. This is great - give the ticket to the cashier, pay, drive around to the side and they load your item in your car for you. I can't imagine trying to get a big tv into your car - especially if you were alone. I am sure it would take forever to get an employee to help haul out on that day! We also have the wrapped pallets too. Seems to work fine - so far. About the SP's. Does anyone who is getting one know if these are the new SP's with the brighter lit screen or are they dumping all the older ones on us for that price? I would love to get my DD one of the new brighter lit screens.

We are planning on the Target Kawasaki 9" one for $139. Does anyone know if any portable dvd players have 2 vs 1 headphone jack? We need something for the little ones to do while we are watching the older one at her bb tourneys - can be a long day for them.

My TRU in MN said they won't PM and Walmart stopped price matching. I checked at Walmart and they still price match. Shopko PM for me Sat. Less and less seem to be doing it though.

Don't hate me but I don't like those darn shopping carts on BF. People with shopping carts slow everone down. If between the three of us we can't get it all I would rather run some out to the car and go back in. People are rude with pushing those things into each other.
