I finally invested in the energizer rechargable batteries. It comes with the wall charger and car adapter to charge on the go. Charges in 15 minutes! Gotta love that.

I got my DD a digital from Santa for Christmas this year. I went to BB on BF and got a 1GB for 59.99 with a 20.00 mail in rebate. Keep watching the ads, maybe something will come up again.

We watched Christmas with the Kranks for 2nd time this weekend. First was in the theater. The kids have already had Elf on, this weekend we will probably dig out some more.

My DD wants to wrap everything as soon as we get it. I want to wait until I know I can't find a better deal on it at another store. May have to return. I am using the excel list for the presents this year or I would forget what I bought also.

The only thing I bought myself was the crockpot at menards. It is still in the box. My SIL wanted one last year and I jokingly got her the Walmart $5 special. I may just give this one to her. I always wanted one like that, but where the heck am I going to store in when not in use-my kitchen is too small and it has no plans on becoming bigger!

I bought 3 packs at Walmart BF. Someone said their Walmart now has them marked down to $3 a pack from BF's $5 a pack. That is a steal. They make great bday gifts for those parties your DS gets invited too. If needed, you can even split the 2 pack.

No where near done - I hope to get the kids done this weekend after DD basketball tourney.

Ok the rebate address to send in to is a town 35 miles from me. Anyone know how these work - is it like a stay at home type job or what? I always wondered.

Something really strange. I just got a catalog in the mail yesterday, when I went to the site, some items are way more than the catalog price. I would love to order online to get the email thanking me and wanting to give me a gc with next purchase - anyone have a clue other than emailing customer service on how to get my catalog prices online?

That is usually how it works isn't it? If you mistakenly get too much $$$ off, you end up repaying it somewhere else. At least it seems that way to me.

I hope that is the case at my Walmart! I haven't gotten back there yet - weather turned icky and they closed school early so will have to wait a couple more days.
