  1. I am planning on buying my almost 13yr old DD her own digital camera for Christmas. The Sears BF ad for the Kodak 3.2 MP with printer deck bundle for $149.99 looks like a good deal. Any one have any better suggestions? I am not sure what the costs are involved with the printer ink, paper, etc. Would I be better off getting a digital and no printer dock and just have her upload them on my pc and order prints online? I myself have a sony digital and love it but would like something inexpensive for her to start with but not getting too cheap so that it is crappy. I have a HP all in one printer so it has the 4 memory stick/media slots so I figured Kodak should work with that for uploading. Comments? Tips??? Thanks

  4. So where are all you people from. I have never even heard of Chik-fil-A, Steak & Shake, Ryan's or Max & Erma's. We don't have Arby's or White Castle neither. Am I in the sticks or are the first 4 a "regional" thing?
  5. Yes it is only one item that gets discounted, not for the whole order.
  6. Does anyone here know anything about the BB Samsung 2MP digital camcorder. The price on BF is $99 AR. It says min 3 per store. What I want is to get my DS who's almost 8 his own camcorder - so the price is right here but not sure on the specs. He is always using mine and I don't want to chance that one getting broken. Who knows, maybe we have a budding movie man here! Or do you have any ideas on something you own that would be better.
  7. How do you fit anything into those stockings??? Cd's Dvd's and the like are impossible to get into their stockings.
  8. We always go to Jcpenney's for the free snow globe. My DD loves collecting those. One year at Shopko we got the Island of Misfit toys (Rudolph the red nosed reindeer) toy at the door.
  9. We have PS 2 and Gamecube. The DH uses the PS 2 and the kids use the Gamecube. My kids are DD 12, DS 7 and DD 3. Actually my son uses the PS 2 also but it depends on what games your kids like. We also have 3 gameboy advances and my DD just saved up and bought the DS. If you like the sport games I would say the PS 2 or XBox 360 (the graphics are suppose to be awesome on it). If your kids already have the gameboys they are probably use to certain characters. Look at the games they are playing now and it will help you figure out what would be best. The gamecube is the least expensive considering you can get the $50 games bundled with the gamecube for $99. Glad we are not the only ones with multiple systems in the house.
  10. Gift cards are the way to go! They can use it for whatever they might need and don't have to worry about a place to display whatever "teacher" related item you bought them.
  11. I just got one in the mail today to save 30% using promo code SAVETHIRTY 11/10-11/15. Says it is not transferrable but it is worth a try.
  12. Sign up to receive their catalog, there is usually a coupon in there. Ours just came in the mail and it was a save 20% on your entire purchase thru 11/20.
  13. The big book my DH picked up in the store didn't have the $10 gift card offer on the front of it - but I seen it online at TRU on the cover so I made sure to go to the service desk when I got to the store and they had them in two different flyers. My coupon said good 11/6 thru 11/12 and the gift card is good to redeem on future purchase until 12/31/05. I grabbed a few extra as I know I will be going back there this week.
  14. Target had a toy catalog in my sunday paper with Littlest pet shop whirlaround for 24.99 with coupon from catalog. My DD is 12 and still loves these toys. I did notice yesterday that the littlest pet shop multiples playset like curious kittens and polar puppies are 7.99 at TRU - TRU online they are 9.99, it's not a sale but just cheaper in the store plus you can use those coupons.
  15. When you go to TRU go the service desk and pick up a flyer with a coupon for Free $10 gift card when you spend $75 or more good 11/6 thru 11/12. I was able to use the $5 off coupon referred to here plus this gift card coupon yesterday.
