Medina's WM is closing today at 7pm and reopening at midnight. I hope they let you put the doorbusters in your cart then. That would be really nice. Luckily I stopped at WM Wed and found out they are opening at midnight. They haven't done that before and I am curious to how they will handle it

I always go with my sis, mom, and sometimes my aunt. Last year when WM had the big projection TVs we were about 8th in line. There were only 8 TVs available. There was a couple behind us and then two of three teenagers and a parent. The group of teenagers went from about 4 people around MN to 10 or 12 by 5am. They were obnoxious all night long. When the doors were about ready to open they started pushing and acting like jerks. We did not want a TV and neither did the two guys in front of us. We let the couple behind us in front of us. Then my family and the two guys stood in a line shoulder to shoulder so the kids could not get around us. They were pushing and cussing us the whole time. When they finally did get in the door, one tripped and then it was a mass pileup in the middle of the aisle. I thought it was hilarious:D. Then again, maybe you had to be there.:)

There is no way I would let someone come up to me and say that. We had people try to get in front of us and we raise a fuss until they remove themselves or are removed

We always try to be in line early. Last year we let the couple behind us get in the door first so they could get the last TV. I wouldn't even think about selling a ticket to someone that has waited as long as I have for something. Christmas is about giving...Not about what you can make off other people...no matter if they are stupid enough to buy the ticket or not:D

We always go to WM. Of course WM never gave out anything but a local family restaurant passed out free coffee and donuts to the people waiting in line.

Don't they put an ad in the Sunday paper before BF. I know the sale ads are very limited that day.

Didn't they announce the secret sale online only last year? Wasn't that where the big projection tV and like 4 or 5 other things were listed. If I remember correctly the list came out Thanksgiving online. The early bird sale was something different (with the laptop ect.). Maybe they will do that this year. Not that it matters because last years items on the secret list were a joke.

Last year we hit TRU later in the day and got what was on our list and the crowd wasn't so bad. It depends if you want to take your chances.

Usually I plan out BF as the ads appear. On Thanksgiving Day we finalize those plans and get ready to go out.

I am glad that I will only be 6 months prego on BF. I would about kill me to have to stay home. Maybe I could just wrap some pillows around my tummy for protection:D

I have a 4yo DD. It is very cold here. I would not take her early or stand in line with her because of the cold and of the crowd. I would be too afraid she would get hurt. I have no problem taking her out later in the day. I don't think it is a safe enviornment for a young child. The deals wouldn't be worth it to me to put my child at risk.

We are usually pretty lucky and get everything on our list. We plan our trip after turkey. We write down everything we want and then divide it up by departments. When the doors open, we each take off for a different department. It has worked well for us.

We almost always hit Walmart first. From there we go to Kmart, Target, and Kohl's.

I would like to get my dad a new TV, possibly a flat panel. My husband hasn't really mentioned anything yet. DD4 hasn't made any special requests yet. She did mention the line of "Fabulous" clothes that she saw on TV. Right now she is into Barbies and Polly Pockets. Maybe a game for her for the Wii. Maybe one of the hand held video games for her like leap frog or something
